  1. I'll just say this. "Space means exploration". What is there to explore on giant colored spheres that are barren, uninteresting and you can't really do anything much on them? ... Wait, what is this game about, again? But not lack of "Readers"
  2. I don't have a problem with upgrading anything. Heck, even if I had to I would buy a new motherboard... Its the "Money" that is the problem... Also my PC is just a few months old.. Not going to spend on any upgrades anytime soon.
  3. I wish I would've wen't for a better Processor, currently I have the i7 4770 3.4Ghz (Non k) And I'm getting 30-35 Fps with just 211 parts... What a massive difference..
  4. Well where else are they getting all that handful of fuel? Kerbals ofcourse! Just not from sweat... but.... from alternative....ways...
  5. Yeah I know right, also who knew that deserts had grass but only with a different color?! Its freaking fantastic! also the new Stretched-out Moon textures as well! Also terrific! (SmileyFace)
  6. I know this is more of a personal problem but, what to do for those who don't like unofficial features or mechanics or anything really in their game? (Talking about mods) I'm just saying that I don't like to be playing a different game if compared to the next guy.. I mean I.e. I have finally landed on Laythe or something with a unique rocket and am super proud.. but other people are doing it with mechjeb or kerbonite or any mod that makes it a different experience and alters the difficulty.. I'm not sure if I explained it well but in short, I'm just saying that I want everyone to be on even ground (or atleast most people). If you know what I mean. In my point of view.. with all these mods I feel like we are all playing a different game and we aren't on the same page.. we aren't playing the same thing, we aren't one big community. I'm probably way off and no one feels the same as I do, or I just can't explain properly, but I hope someone gets what I'm saying. EDIT: Another way I could put it: "I like it when we are all playing the same thing, only thing different is our minds and our ideas. Not the game itself."
  7. Agree... The devs did become more lazy... Oh well... I guess the "Time Rots Everything" saying is true. (And in this case its the motivation that has rotted for the devs.) This game will probably never reach that "Close to being a Perfect Space Sandbox Game" state.
  8. There are a heck of a lot of other players who play without mods, including me. I've tried multiple times to play with some mods but for some weird reason.. I like it when its simple and I like to play only with whats "Officially" is given to us to play with... I was playing with the Astronomers Visual Pack, and I really liked it, and I still like it.. but I decided to uninstall it.. can't really explain why I did that but yeah... well I guess because its not an "Official" thing (Duh) (And also it effects the performance a tiny bit) So yeaaaahh... Then I played with KAS, I really hope its going to be implemented in to the stock game.. but yeah I ended up uninstalling it.. same reason. I'll try and force myself to install the Astronomers Visual Pack again later.. *Cough I'm not weird at all *Cough*
  9. May I ask what Graphics card you have? OP?
  10. Another thread.. Inb4 closed.
  11. 0.25 is defiantly a downgrade. My favorite MK1 Cockpit's texture got ruined.. why did they want to re-texture it if they can't do a good job on it? Even the model itself looks downgraded not just the texture...
  12. Would be amazing if that would be in the game.. if only it wouldn't make the game run more s****y.
  13. Yeah, Since this game is so heavily relying on imagination, times like these where I have a mood where I don't feel like using my imagination, the game is boring for me. Even though I want to play it, but I just can't have fun for longer than 10 or so minutes without any imagination, like you said they should focus on encouraging that imagination.
  14. I wish I had so much fun with this game. But lately I've been lacking in fun ideas on what to make and do or what story I can make up. I can't find any inspiration for days now...
  15. I've recently started career mode... Its still pretty *Cough*Pathetic*Cough* but atleast it kept me playing for another 5 or so hours in total. Even though I didn't have so much fun but atleast there was some sort of a goal, even though it wasn't a great goal (I'm talking about unlocking the tech tree) I still prefer "Science Sandbox" or as I like to call it "The Career mode before it got ruined mode". But oh well,
  16. Today I finally learned how to make a SSTO plane (One that actually works) Here are some Pics: Pretty planetzzzzz
  17. I'm having frame rate issues while in map view when there are maneuver nodes, my fps drops down from 60 to 30-40, and the strange thing is that it doesn't always happen. Is there an optimization fix or something? I have a fairly beast-ish PC so it shouldn't be because of my PC specs.
  18. I really do hope its KAS.. I don't want to use the mod because I don't like any additional GUI clutter. Is there a version that is simplified a bit by any chance?
  19. This should have been the mod they added instead of SpacePlane+ for .25
  20. S***, that version isn't out yet here? Disregard my message.
  21. Whhooaaahhh... I even quit battlefield 3's single player at the third mission.. I couldn't handle it. Too hard for me... (Seriously though.. it tried to be so cool and badas* that it ended up being pathetic.. felt like it was put together by a 6 year old) But yeah, I agree with you.
  22. Hard mode doesn't make the game harder, it makes you grind more. 'nuff said.
  23. Only reason why I'm "Hating" on the devs is because I care about this game, very much actually, and I'm worried that its going in that direction that didn't made me start playing the game in the first place. I figured out what could "Possibly" make me feel less to non at all hate for the career mode, which is for them to make some sort of a way to "generate" income, (Just having a stable way of getting funds constantly) Probably by setting up a very expensive resource gathering base of operation. Which generate constant flow of income so you wouldn't be dependent or "Forced" to do contracts to get funds. also lessen the funds you earn from everything, and also revamp the contracts in general. If that would happen I would most likely "Shut my self up"... But ofcourse I'm asking for too much too fast, I just can't stand the current state of the career mode, not even for a second... I'll shut up now.
