  1. I don't know about stock aero, but I can't seem to make the lifeboat do anything but fly retrograde in FAR. With or without the engine, it will always flip and point straight retrograde. At that point the SAS and RCS can't do anything to change its direction. Then the pod impacts at >100 m/s and explodes. Does anyone have any tips for re-entry with the lifeboat under FAR?
  2. Thanks for getting back so quickly! Do you have a recommendation of where else I should try it? I deleted settings.cfg, went to the controls setup, set "lights" to button 2, and launched a new craft with a solar panel and a lightbulb. It still did the same thing, sadly. Launching it without optirun yields the same result, but at a much lower framerate. I should mention that I am using the 64 bit version. I'd try it in the 32 bit one, but it crashes right after loading. If you think it would be worth it, I can fix that and try it in 32 bit.
  3. Hello! I'm having a problem that Google can't tell me much about. I had been running the Windows x86 build of KSP while I set up my graphics driver on Linux, and my Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick worked like a charm. Now that I'm on Linux however, I'm having difficulty with the buttons. If I press the button I've mapped as "RCS Toggle" or any other "toggle", the indicator for that function turns on or off every frame. If I try to stage, I hear the staging click 20+ times per second. Spying on the raw joystick with jstest, I see only what I would expect. When I press a button, jstest labels that button as "on" and when I let go it labels it as "off." My machine is Linux Mint 17 (kernel 3.13, based off of Ubuntu Trusty), with NVIDIA optimus and bumblebee. To launch KSP, I use "optirun ./KSP.x86_64". Has anyone else experienced this issue or know of a workaround? I don't know whether this is a Unity/Linux problem or whether it is restricted to KSP. The analog axes work just fine. Thanks for your help!
