  1. Hi @inigma, I'm almost done the first of two fighters. Is the P100 Turboprop too advanced? How about the Juno? Also, what size do you want the bomber to be? I can make it pretty large using the Mk3 parts, but idk if you want that. I can also make a fighter-bomber, too.
  2. Hi, @KingSqueaker! Sure we can help! What do you need help with? Some basic things: Look up gravity turn on Google, and use them to launch your rockets. Fins should go at the bottom of a rocket, not the top The Solid Rocket Boosters do not need an engine on them Check out this subforum if you have questions Kerbals are as expendable as you want them to be Not Jeb Not Bill Not Bob Not Valintina Just becuase something looks cool doesn't mean that it will work. My best designs are pretty visually simple. Does that help?
  3. Welcome aboard, @Mods_o_joy! We're just finishing up the Mission Control crew- only 3 more people needed! @ZooNamedGames, you should probably change the title of the thread to let people know.
  4. Ok, I'll start working on this. Do the ground vehicles need wheels, or can they be stationary?
  5. I visited it before the shuttle, too, but I don't remember how long ago. The first time my family was there, my younger brother had never seen or heard of an aircraft carrier before. Upon learning that we were going to one, he promptly said "I hate aircraft carriers!" Little kids are so fun.
  6. I've been waiting for this for so long, and you just had to post it while I'm in school. The Intrepid is one of my favorite ships. Have you visited it yet? Bring Kuzzter Jr., he'll enjoy it.
  7. Welcome aboard! It's kinda addicting, sorry/not sorry.
  8. Great work, man. Have you considered releasing this on the spacecraft exchange? I wish I could rep this more.
  9. Oh, are we recommending missions for the next video already? Soyuz 4 & 5- First docking of two manned spacecraft Luna 15- "culmination" of the space race, USSR released the flight plan so it wouldn't crash with Apollo 11 Zond 7- A mention, probably. First Zond craft to make a safe flight for the crew. Soyuz 6, 7, & 8- 3 craft in close formation. In-space welding. Azur- FRG's first satellite. A mention, maybe? Skynet 1A- How could you not mention this real-life Terminator reference? Thanks again for doing this series.
  10. You've been playing for 3 months and you didn't say hi before? Welcome!
  11. I'm in favor of that. I can make a payload, and we can use @Joco223's booster.
  12. We should probably get a launch together soon so we don't lose interest from people.
  13. I like how you explained the naming system. Looking forward to the next (and the next, and the next...) installment!
  14. That's good, but you don't need to worry about the 1-10 tonne lifters. Joco223 did a great job on them.
  15. No. You can have a puppy with a santa hat, though. @Avera9eJoe?
  16. Well, they would have to read Gene's will, and he gets/got to decide where it goes to. That's a legal principle, and is why we can have legal organ donation programs, and cremation, etc. But that's not really my specialty. GIVE ME A TRIAL!
  17. Way to go, man! I'm in the same spot. Not working for Papa John's, though...
  18. I think that this is a great idea. @KasperVld, how can we help?
  19. That's right. Imagine it this way: You have a table. You roll a ball off that table. It's moving slowly, so it falls to the ground about 5 feet from the edge of the table. Now you roll another ball off the table, a bit faster. It falls, too, but it falls about 10 feet from the table, in the same amount of time (because gravity is the same on each of them). You keep doing this until you roll the ball off the table, and it's moving so fast that gravity pulls it down, but the earth has become further away from the starting point. This keeps happening. If you were using a mountain and a cannonball it would look like this: C is a perfect orbit. D is the orbit you are talking about. Because the cannonball has a higher initial velocity, the Earth curves away more than the cannonball falls. Then, as the cannonball reaches the highest point away from Earth, it comes down, just like if it were thrown straight up. The difference is, it has vertical velocity combined with the horizontal velocity (using physics, you could work this out, but I don't want to ), so it's moving faster. It will return to its starting point, and repeat this orbit forever.
  20. Alleged piracy! There were no witnesses, so only circumstantial evidence. Every Kerbal and Kermulan deserves a fair trial with due process of comic law.
  21. Two starts total is fine. I doubt that you will need to make a solar pack. The payload should be able to operate autonomously, and will nominally decouple from the second stage after the orbital insertion. That's fine. Engine out capability is not needed, but would be a bonus for extra-valuable payloads. Don't knock yourself out on this one. That's perfect. The fairing doesn't matter too much. We can add an adapter if needed, at the expense of some payload. I do not know which failure mod we'll use. Ask @ZooNamedGames. Thanks for helping!
  22. I don't know if I've seen you before. 1/10
