  1. Yukon, those photos are amazing! Also, where's the colony on Tekto? The lake is the colony site BTW
  2. Thanks for reading! Yeah, that's true, it takes some time to get followers. Nice story BTW
  3. Nice story! It will be cool to see more!
  4. Ranger-2 leaving my fully assembled Laythe colony. I abandoned the two (crashed) Landers on the surface. Ranger-1 had a problem. All crew are coming home soon. The crew see the CSV Paulina once again, with Jool in the photo. Also, that lake near the bottom is where the colony is. Also, any work on the Lazarus pods? DMSP.
  5. Chapter 3 - Meeting Paulina "Ok, crew is go!" Shouted Sidrie over the intercom. The modified Jool-6 was now ready to go. Sidrie looked at his 3 other crew members. Newson, his Science! officer, Genson, the backup pilot and Rodbles, His main engineer. They were sitting inside Ranger-1, one of the two on the rocket adapter. He could see the excitement in their eyes, and the horror as well. They might never come back. They might not make it to Jool. They might never dock with the Paulina. Heck, they might never make it off the pad. But he knew they would. "Two minutes to liftoff," Announced Gane Kerman at Mission Control, "All fuel pipes released, systems nominal!" One minute and 40 seconds later... "20 seconds!" Gane was tense. So were the crew inside Ranger-1. Sidrie, remembering, took a photo of Staca out and put it in the tight space behind one of the control panels. I'll see you again... Sidre thought. "10 seconds!" "5" "4" "3" "2" "1, all 1st stage motors go, clamps released, and... we have a liftoff!" The force of the 1st stage's 20 rocket motors lifted the Rangers off the ground. The far left window was smudged, and it seemed to distort the blue sky and the Mün. The Mün, a source of pride for Kerbal-Kind. Also the grave of 37 Kerbals and 12 bases. The rocket pushed skywards. 5 minutes later... Sidrie took a quick glance at the first stage fuel. Almost empty. "First stage burnout in 6 seconds!" He yelled over the 20 dying rocket motors. "3". "2". "1"! The interstage seperated, and everyone and everything was thrown forward. The second stage ignited, clawing towards the dark vacuum of space. 3 hours later... Newson was floating around the cases of personal belongings and last minute equipment when he spotted a glint out of the window. A grin spread across his face. "Hello Paulina, nice to meet you!" He announced jokingly. Sidrie clambered over his chair and looked out of the window. The ring of modules reminded Sidrie of a clock. Rodbles let out a gasp in awe. They now had seen their new home. Genson was stunned. "Wow... What a wonder..." He looked wide eyed at the craft. He had constructed multiple parts of the craft, but seeing it fully assembled put him in awe. The crew got to work setting up the Rangers for docking. 32 minutes later... Sidrie was sitting at the controls, watching the Paulina through his window. "Alright, separating Ranger-2!" Ranger-2 flew away from the adapter towards the ship, its autopilot docking sequence kicking in. The craft docked perfectly. "Ok guys, strap in! It's our turn to dock! Ranger-1... Detached!" The Ranger and its crew flew away from the adapter and rotated to get in line with the port. Sidrie alined the Ranger and then started using the RCS to ease them towards it. When less than 30 centimeters away, the magnets on both docking ports brought the spacecraft together. "And... docked" "Yes!" Genson was excited. "Nice work Sidrie!" Newson was relived. The crew began by opening the front airlock.
  6. Hi all, could I have a flag for Laythe again? Could it look something like this?
  7. Thank you so much, but let me warn you, the Skitzu has a TWR of 1.0 when you start off. It's for long missions in deep space! Thanks again esinohio!
  8. Just got my last Rep+ and it pushed me to 3 bars! Yea!
  9. This is what I have done so far in my new save

    Riddles

Called a colour, seems unfair, Called some water, I have more, With a beach that has no sands, And lights turned on by famous hands. The rock? Best made to disappear. The garden? Place for eye and ear. So cross the tracks, but look both ways, And hope for many sunny days. New page post so I can remember... - - - Updated - - - I have no idea, the sky? We need a hint...
  11. Ok, thanks! I crashed in the mountains, aiming for a flattish area in a valley.
  12. Well, you'll be fine, but maybe not the planes... Great work, Squatty Base is going to Pol soon!
  13. I love these, and I just used the K-33 to deliver a Moho probe's fuel tank/booster tank to orbit! I crashed on landing... Poor "Big Daddy"... Also, where can I get the really large orbital centrifuge station that uses SRBs? DMSP out (I used this before I first saw you, Rune).
  14. I guess, but that's not for Base building.
  15. Ok, main colony module is built and in orbit. Science Lab is there as well. I'll dock them soon. The nuclear tug is almost done. I'll launch the "Squatty Base" (Brototo's Developing Duna) soon. Fuel depot is not done yet. I'll bring one of my light CTVs, some probes and KAS/KIS equipment. Your dropships will be the last to the package, and there will be two! I might also bring a Tadpole and a orbital fuel module. Peace out guys
  16. I think that the craft need to have that for as you said, survival reasons. A crew should be able to be rescued. Also, cool to see you like my Laythe Landing image!
  17. Well, it's all my fault, but I had just remembered right before I launched I had a Eeloo mission coming in. I hadn't quick saved, and I knew it was landing at KSC. Now, out of all the places, guess where it landed? Right on top of the shuttle. This was about 60 tons btw. Out of all the times I want to land on the pad... I hadn't been paying attention because I was watching a SSTO to Dres video by Cupcake. Oh well, the 4 Kerbals in the shuttle died, but the 6 on the Eeloo one survived. This was one or two days before my computer crashed and I lost my save. Dang, it kinda makes me sad thinking about it...
  18. Alright, downloading! I feel like setting up a base on Pol. I'll use this if I may! - - - Updated - - - Darnit, so sorry, didn't mean to Necro...
  19. Oh nice! Bring the KIS along, unless it is empty boxes. What is in the capsule? Jeb? Snacks? Jeb? Wait I said that already...
  20. Uploads coming soon, sorry for the wait!
