  1. Aaah, i usually edit the save game and toggle through all the funds & sci untill i find the right one and add some zeroes.
  2. Potentially a great mod, but half the moons look like minimus. Anyways, thank you.
  3. Squad should put some effort into fixing the DX11 flaws. The 4GB limit is a serious drawback for people who like mods and lots of bases and stuff. As I see it it should be fixable since only minimus i a black hole and shadows renders fine for some.
  4. minimus is a black hole it, it renders normally when you zoom max out, but turns black again when zooming back
  5. Dunno, just tried it 10 minutes before posting. Shadows seems fine, kerbonauts make shadows on the spacecraft during EVA, and Spacecraft make shadows on the mun during landing. Current gfx settings - Terrain: High, SM3:enabled, Terrain Scatters: Disabled, Scatter Density:50%, Render Quality: Fantastic, Texture Quality: Full res, Fallback parts shaders : True, aerodynamics FX: Normal, Edgehighlights: Disabled, Resolution:1920x1080, fullscreen enabled, AA: 4X, VSync: everyVblank, Framelimit : 120 fps, Pixel light count : 8, Shadow cascades: 4.
  6. How about using -force-d3d11? Works wonders for me. Vanilla ksp.exe crashes during loading but using -force-d3d11 it works fine. 2.15GB RAM usage when ksp.exe -force-d3d11, versus crashing on loading usin vanilla ksp.exe
  7. through ksp. If I do an alt-tab when ksp is loading the loading screen turns black, if I don't, the ksp menu turns to white 3/4 quarter screen flimmering. After alt-tab back to windows the game runs fine.
  8. Try turning off antialiasing. I had flimmers and 3/4screen black. Works fine after turning off antialiasing
  9. The upgrade building costs renders the career game very tedious and boring.
  10. If you want to hit 5GHz you need to fiddle with the CPU strap to 1.25 thingy. Used to run mine at 5GHz, but my G.Skill RAMs don't like the X79 chip so it turned unstable.
  11. I got a I7-3820 680gtx sli and I experience the same thing with parts rich spacecrafts. The 64 bit version is don't work. The I7-3820 is a Sandy Bridge and unlocked up to 4.4 GHz so you can overclock if you got a decent cooler. ( The huge majority of Sandy Bride CPU's can reach 4.4 GHz OC, unlike later Intel models like Ivy-Bridge and Hashwell wich you need more luck to get a CPU wich can reach 4.4 GHz)
  12. I want lightweight inflatable balloon tanks for use in space. I have modified a umbra space technology ilm module in my savegame, and it works great on my fuel shuttle.
  13. How about adding some inflatable balloon fuel tanks for use in space? Once you are in space you can transfer fuel to the balloontanks and ditch the heavy fuel tanks to gain some precious deltaV.
  14. Your CPU is strong enough, so the bottleneck is somewhere else. Most likely culprits are either that all the RAM is used elsewhere, or thermal throttling.
