This is a pretty good question, both spacecraft had their advantages and disadvantages. Mercury was smaller, lighter, and more advanced than Vostok. Vostok was larger, heavier, but had a longer endurance period (two weeks vs two days), and was roomier on the inside.
I will be using Windows 7 untill I am certain that the games I like to play can be run seamlessly on Linux (either natively or with something like Wine), or Microsoft pulls their head out of their bum, whichever comes first.
Nvidia PhysX does work on GPU's with CUDA, but Unity uses an older version of PhysX that doesn't support GPU's, multithreading, or even the old Ageia PhysX cards.
Looks like this could be good, I'm watching! Edit: You should consider building a faster computer for playing KSP, there was a thread with tips before the great forum debacle. Don't buy a prebuilt, either, they are a ripoff if ever there was one.
I see so many people still doing slash and burn reinstalls... It's really not necessary anymore, guys. Windows 7 doesn't get slow like XP did and there is software (CC Cleaner) that can clean stuff out if needed. And it's completely unnecessary on linux.
Sounds like a lame excuse to me. As always, claims made without evidence can be dismissed without evidence, and for someone who has some very big claims, you lack evidence, or at least the gal to post it.
I'm not afraid to be skeptical, I, however, am skeptical of YOU. YOU have come into this thread claiming there is something malicious going on, YOU have claimed to have an inside line into whatever events are going on with the servers or game development, YOU need to put up, or shut up.
Again, do you have evidence to back up these claims, other than "This forum member told me XYZ". So far what you are saying can, and should be, taken with a grain of salt.
Do you have any evidence to back this up, or would you rather continue with baseless speculation? Why don't you go start your own forum dedicated to KSP, and pay the hosting costs, and manage the website, and keep backups in case some one decides to DDOS the site.
