Hey folk, i'm not a modder, just some random guy trying to tweak some mods to my taste, and i was wondering if anyone could tell me what this does: Variance = 50 Dispersal = 3 I assume MinAbundance = .1 and MaxAbundance = 10 define the % of resource, which in turn means how much the drills extract. thanks for any info

I want to report a bug. The giant nuclear rockets are not producing much Delta-V. I compared them with stock NERV and they look fine. The first one is like 4 times as massive, 5 times the thrust, a bit more ISP. The problem is the resource, liquid hydrogen. Hydrogen tanks hold a number about 4 or 5 times bigger than Liquid Fuel, but the nuclear rockets consume massively more. GNR-2500: 300MN, 480 H2 /s Stock Nerv: 60MN, 1.5 LqdFuel /s Kontainer tank that holds 32K LqdFuel, can switch to 160K LqdFuel. But that's not the problem, because H2 is very light. The final problem is, I think, the weight of the Kontainer. An empty 5m Kontainer Tank weighs 25tons but can only store 11.3tons of H2. -
Pretty much all of my rockets achieve orbit in one stage. What's your problem? A single mammoth engine can easily put 30 tons to LKO. I can't say I've managed to land one on land though. Working on it.

ISRU Converter overheating

I didn't see it mentioned anywhere that drills required Engineers. I brought 2 drills and an ISRU along to my science mission to Ike with a scientist onboard. Poor ....... was counting on turning ore to fuel to return. He's staying there for a long time -

I installed this mod but I can't find the drill lol! What could be going on? theres a KA_Drill_Radial_04_MM.cfg entry in the parts folder but it only has like 13 lines. Is this normal? -

Same thing in my game, no "remaining rock" or asteroid size. Also, every time i reload the game, the asteroid mass is replenished. "compress" doesn't work either. And now I have millions of units of space which would require tens of thousands of "expand" clicks to use. -

I'm having a headache putting a Class E asteroid into Kerbin orbit and figured I'd use this mod to diminish the mass of the asteroid.. so, curious question: how much "space" can i create from an asteroid with more than 1000tons of mass? -
Where are Costum Categories stored?

As in, where is the file? So I can copy/share my costum categories. I copied my save to a backup folder and everything is fine but my costum categories are not appearing. I spent hours on that thing -

I'm missing a survey station. I'm going to try unlock it. edit: It works, the Survey station built a Pod on top of a survey stake lol! edit2: Put two stakes apart, and the pod was built between them, cute! edit: Hey boss, is it possible for a noob like me to add the Survey Station functionality to one of the MKS/OKS parts? Like maybe copy/paste a chunk of code in cfg file? Oh and thanks for the help. I love this mod. Can't wait to have my super space factory online.

Well I actually managed to get stuff working by removing EVERYTHING except the Plugin folder. That was enough to activate EPL functionality on MKS/OKS, but caused KAS trouble. However, now I tried removing just a few parts (smelters, recyclebin, maybe something), I managed to boot up the game (yay RAM) and KAS seems to be working fine. However, now that I can finally use Survey Stakes, I don't know how to use them LOL.

Oh, basicly, I fill up a container in the VAB with stuff like survey stake, pipes and stuff like that, but then when I launch the ship (default, not using EPL), it's empty. I'm using MKS/OKS. my mod list: Everything else seems fine though I haven't made extensive tests. I just thought you guys might have an idea, perhap some incompatibility? One thing I noticed, is that it seems that the MKS/OKS mod has a file that seems to disable every EPL part (which are not necessary since that mod already has resource extraction and processing) EXCEPT survey stakes, it just uses the plugins/*.dll files. But I can't figure out why it bugging KAS. EDIT: NEVERMIND ME! It's working. I'm an idiot. I had removed some unnecessary files to get KSP to boot up, but probably one too many. Sorry to waste your time.

Toolbar doesn't seem to be working for me. Sometimes when I enter the game it shows up and then quickly disappears. I initially installed it with CKAN but since done it manually. I've tried removing the .dat file too. I'm considering removing and installing mods to see if anything gets better. My mod list (all installed with CKAN):

Hello, I have question. I used to use mechjebs ascent to rendevouz quite often but now I can't, it always misses, by alot in fact. In Kerbin, when I launch ship, the target is almost on the other side. Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this? As far as I know only FAR breaks mechjeb ascent, but i dont have that.
