The contract states that I need to do the following: Build a new orbital station around the Mun. Put your station in orbit of the Mun Build a new station that has an antenna, a docking port, and can generate power. Have a facility supporting at least nine kerbals. Have a research lab at the station. Have 6,000 units of liquid fuel in your station. Build the facility into a Class D asteroid. Maintain stability for ten seconds. I accepted the contract, built a NEW station from scratch, captured an asteroid, and finally placed the whole thing in a Munar orbit. When I captured the asteroid, I got credit for everything except "Put the station in orbit of the Mun." Once I got it into orbit around the Mun, the credit I got for "Build a new station that has an antenna, a docking port, and can generate power." was wiped out for some reason.

When using HyperEdit for landing coordinates, input North & East coordinates as POSITIVE numbers and South & West coordinates as NEGATIVE numbers. For example, if you want to land on the Mun & the KSP coordinates are: 10 52 42 N 52 21 31 W The landing coordinates for HyperEdit will be: 10.878333 -52.358611 To help convert the KSP/MechJeb coordinates to HyperEdit coordinates, I use this website: https://www.fcc.gov/encyclopedia/degrees-minutes-seconds-tofrom-decimal-degrees I hope this helps.

It's not stock. I was having an issue with MKS modules popping off of their bases, so I made one HUUUUUUUUUUUGE base using the core MKS components that I teleported from the launchpad, to orbit, then to the surface of Eve. Trying to do multiple launches/dockings/flights to Eve was too much of a pain. I'll upload a screenshot tomorrow so you can get a view of it. https://www.dropbox.com/s/pt5os8eiaxzsf5h/screenshot20.png?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/c6g6s8mksgjnn3y/screenshot21.png?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/1vvb8rdzgt4p8zo/screenshot22.png?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/jdsipp6h5e6sz9c/screenshot23.png?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/b2vnzu94v085hnj/screenshot24.png?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/idb43e1jwfclh4f/screenshot25.png?dl=0

Arghhhh... Trying that now. Dropping in from 100 meters, but due to the ENORMOUS mass of my vessel (140 tons) she's super sluggish and keeps rolling toward her heavy side even with RCS & SAS set to keep her oriented right side up. *** UPDATED *** Ok. Beat that issue too... I had to set her orientation in orbit to make sure it was set the way I wanted, then I used Ship Lander to teleport her. I did the opposite & set the altitude for 5 meters & by the time the roll started it didn't matter because I only had to travel 1 meter to the surface. =)

No worries. I was scouring the forums for two days trying to figure it out. Glad I can help anyone else who might be stuck as well... Now I'm just trying to figure out how to set my craft attitude before I touch down on the surface. No luck so far & my ship keeps breaking apart when I hit the surface because I'm landing at the orientation my ship was at while I was in orbit. =/

Can anyone assist me with using HyperEdit to get dead on teleporting to the surface of Eve? I’ve got the coordinates to get exactly where I want to be, but I haven’t figured how to input the coordinates into the HE Ship Lander. 24° 54' 08" S 57° 20' 09" W Alt 442mm The closest I seem to be able to get is a LAT of -25, a LON of -57, and an altitude of 1. Is there a way to get a more refined landing spot? Thanks! *** UPDATE *** I figured it out. I needed to convert my MechJeb coordinates into Decimal Degrees. If you need to do it yourself, here’s the website I used: http://www.fcc.gov/encyclopedia/degrees-minutes-seconds-tofrom-decimal-degrees South latitude and West longitude coordinates are entered as a negative number. So the above MechJeb coordianates become the following decimal degree coordinates: Lat: -24.902222 Lon: -57.335833

Hi all! Does anyone else have an issue with the game flipping out after sending astronauts on an EVA? Whenever I have my Kerbals go for a walk outside of the ship & then TRY to have them reboard, the game does a few things… 1) It shows the astronaut stuck on the ladder just outside of the crew hatch, even after they’ve successfully boarded, 2) if I try to go to the map view, the planet I’m conducting the EVA on doesn’t show up, and then I can’t exit that view, and 3) after the astronaut boards the ship again, their icon, staging info, attitude indicator, and other info windows are missing… The only way to get away from it is to revert the mission back to the launch pad, assembly building, or Space Center. I've attached screen shot that show what I'm talking about... This shot shows how everything looks before I have my astronaut start the EVA- This shot is immediately after the EVA. The astronaut is back on board, but his body still shows up at the Crew Entrance. Also the icons are missing from the bottom of the screen now. Finally here's the shot from the map view... The planet that the rover is currently on is nowhere to be seen, and the Mun is in the distance. The mods I’m using are as follows: B9 Aerospace MechJeb Romfarer’s Lazor & Robot Arm packs Navy Fish’s Docking Port mod Near Future’s Solar Pack Any solutions out there?

Ok.. I went directly to the Radeon site to do DL & install the drivers manually... Unfortunately because my system is 5+ years old, the driver is in fact current. I'm about to give the video settings a try. >crossing my fingers< --- Update --- I dumped the Graphics Profile down to 'Minimum' and confirmed that the Texture Resolution was down to 'Eight Res'. Still no luck. I'll try dropping in a different graphics card tomorrow & go from there. Thanks for all of the help so far!

Roger that. I tried updating the graphics card driver, but it said that they're up to date already... I'll try dropping a spare card in there & see if that helps the issue. I'll give the Video Settings a try first. I currently only have the option of changing my graphics settings from the KSP Updater/Launcher screen. Will these changes work or do I actually need to get into the main KSP Game screen? https://www.dropbox.com/s/n4i7bxdlzls4ljs/KSP%20Graphic%20Settings.jpg?dl=0

Sorry for the delay (life got in the way). =) Here's the Dropbox file breakdown: 1) The KSP Loading screen... Notice that the text for "Pointing Correct End Towards Space" looks broken. That's one of the graphics issues I had a month or so after installing the program. https://www.dropbox.com/s/u4ub81vjchzhy6f/KSP%20Loading%20Screen.jpg?dl=0 2) The crash notification I get during loading... The text for "Patching Conics..." is still distorted. https://www.dropbox.com/s/yuhr8ezisbkgr8w/KSP%20Crash%20Screen.jpg?dl=0 3) The KSP error log. https://www.dropbox.com/s/g3x76siak52xwsm/error.log?dl=0 4) The KSP output log. https://www.dropbox.com/s/hgb2dxftpeul3ed/output_log.txt?dl=0 5) My computer's DXDiag results. https://www.dropbox.com/s/xvwoqzdi81xkqtj/DxDiag.txt?dl=0 Thanks!

SPACE STATIONS! Post your pictures here
rochieren replied to tsunam1's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Hi all. I'm fairly new to KSP and decided to try my hand at building an ISS replica. I'm about 7 days into it (bear with me, I've got a wife & little ones at home that share my time). The parts are 90% stock... The mods I'm using are Mechjeb, the B9 Aerospace Pack, Near Future's Solar Panels, and Romfarer's Lazor & Robotic arm system. I'll share more photos as the build progresses. This is after 3 days & a bunch of individual module launches/docking... The Robotic Arm hadn't been attached yet. This is after the Robotic Arm, the 'Soyuz' module, and a 'Huge Honkin' Solar Array' were attached. - - - Updated - - - -
Hi all. I’m having an issue with frequent crashes with KSP and I’m hoping to find some help in getting it resolved. First, here are my system specs: Windows Vista Home Intel Processor with 2.13 GHz 4 GB of RAM I’ve had the 32-bit version of KSP installed on my desktop for a few months now & initially I didn’t have any issues at all, however about a month before the newest version rolled out I started having some issues. It started with screwy graphic glitches in the form of pixilated flags when I tried selected different ones. I reinstalled the program with no help. I figured “no biggieâ€Â, I’ll just fly with wacky looking flags on my ships. Then I started running into game crashes… First during flights, then while at the Space Center, and now the game crashes after I hit the “Launch†button on the intro screen. I’m not running any mods, I’ve gone into the initial settings & set my graphics for ‘Low’, and I’ve wiped out the KSP folder from my C: drive after uninstalling & before reinstalling… Nothing has worked so far. I didn’t install any new programs/software onto the desktop that would’ve forced any changes… Btw, I’m also running KSP on my laptop with no program issues whatsoever. Any ideas?

Spaceship Gone from Orbit Map
rochieren replied to rochieren's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, unmodded installs)
That was the issue... It somehow got kicked off. Thanks for the assist, Vexx. -
Hi, I was launching rockets today & noticed that my active ship has disappeared from the map. Everything else is there (projected orbit, apoapsis, periapsis, the symbols & orbits of other vessels, etc.) but the symbol for my spacecraft is AWOL. Does anyone out there know how to possibly get it back? Thanks!
