  1. My tech tree doesn't show nodes past the one I just selected - this is a change from before. Is this configurable? What I mean is, when I pay to research Basic Rocketry, the other techs beyond it flash on screen for a second then disappear. Note, I am using TechManager and Community Tech Tree.
  2. This is neat! I hope more people get into this - I suck at this kind of logic, but would love to have better organized categories instead of the current bloated "Utility" tab.

  4. Chris - Any chance we'll get an option for 3.75m stack and cone chutes for the larger parts pack? Also, if I could get someone to do the models etc, would a Universal Storage chute-pack be able to have 3 chutes inside, or is there a 2 chute limit? You just mentioned a 3 resource bug in the post above me.
  5. Real Sounding Rockets dont leave atmosphere so easily as these do... The Aerobee was an early rocket, with two stages and fins. The Aerobee could take a 68 kg payload to an altitude of 130 km. However, the Aerobees were LF\Os. Take a look at the Astrobee. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Astrobee
  6. I've been using Additive, because that was what RSS used, and it made sense that more antennas equaled more range, even though I lowered it from a doubling rate. Can you explain how that compares to root, because I havent tried that yet.
  7. Id love to see multiple loan cycles with compound interest. Have you thought about letting the player buy bonds? Spend X, and get back X+I over Y months.
  8. Yes, but you can always do a multi-relay to maintain an indirect connection.
  9. Okay, how about this : the tracking station and mission planning combine to increase the range, mission planning and admin combine to equal increased DRE speed values, and the VAB and tracking station together makes a better return value?
  10. I like the idea of it being the tracking station. Maybe each level of the tracking station equals a higher percentage of the value recovered?
  11. The upgrade to the mission building says "Flight planning Available," but I have no idea what that means.

  13. You probably have this in mind already, time to upgrade the facilities themselves. However, I'd also love to have a way to make multiple step upgrades at once, and shorten the overall time vs doing them sequentially. Also, I'd like some kind of limit on the number of production lines for each assembly building and tech research based on the building lvl. I.E. When you have a beginning tech center, you can't research 20 techs at the same time.
  14. The top line gives you science for building things, the bottom line is how fast you research.
  15. I'll do it, I have no mods atm here. Edit 1: Stage recovery works straight off. KCT appears to require the toolbar still. Edit 2: Even with Toolbar reinstalled, KCT does not appear in the game in any way shape or form.
  16. How do I do that? More specifically, where is a good guide to read? Most modding tutorials seem to be heavy on the 3d modeling side of things...
  17. I was hoping someone would know how to make RCS thrusters that use cold or compressed gasses. I was thinking that was waste CO2 from TACLS could be combined with waste water or used direct, as a supplement to other RCS systems. Obviously these would be low thrust and ISP, but if the component were light enough, it would be useful on its own.
