  3. Just got finished with the 1.4.2 update and updated through CKAN. CKAN states current version is only 1.4 but I'm interested to see what others here are getting if they're on current version too. Once I get to the main screen and open my save I'm getting an #autolocXXXXXX error and game will CTD.
  4. Updating module manager didn't solve the problem, I'll work on a link in a moment and edit the post here.   5. I noticed that but saw it was only an optional feature needed for other mods, none of which I believe I use. I'm not sure exactly where it goes but I'll look for it. I'm not sure exactly how to update files here since the new forum switch. Last I used them was with the Community Space Shuttle before that project switched hands. I was able to remove the categorykit and resourcepack, along with the other file included out of my gamedata folder and run the game just as I was able to before.
  6. Hi all, I've recently been getting more and more interest in the game again and have been looking for more mods. I tried using ckan to install PBS but the .exe would crash every time. I've manually downloaded the latest version from here and copied the gamedata folder to my root folder. However, now every time I run KSP I'm getting a crash right at the very end of the game loading. I'll try to link the logs here, thanks. Error.log Output_log Currently these are the only mods I run:
  7. Ahhh... yup, that did it. Stupid me was using the other top faring base, not the inline (per video) base. Thanks.
  8. I am not sure how to use the fuselage fairings. On Imgur, it shows I can connect two bases together, to cover some sort of payload. However, all I'm getting is the nose cone blue lines, and not lines from base to base...
  9. It's the base. I guess the R for radius no longer works, as I figured out how to change the size. Now I need to know how to use the fuselage fairings. I'm having trouble connecting the two, but I'll figure it out..
  10. I originally downloaded 3.10 (sorry if you read before the edit, I misunderstood the version numbers) and read the FAQ as to why it was not working and it was the next step.. I do see the one attachment point pointed towards the outside of the VAB as default, and I can place the fairing on it but it won't surround the rest of the rocket... I'll download 3.10 again and let you know if it happens again.. Edit: Oddly enough, redownloading 3.1 fixed it, so I'm not sure where I messed up. On another note though, I'm not sure what I do to stretch them out.
  11. Hello all, I'd hate to sidetrack everyone but I'm not able to get the fairings to work at all. I'm still on .25 and don't have any intentions to go to .90, unless all my mods cease to work. I first downloaded v3.10 and saw the fairings in aero tab (all of this is in sandbox too). I was gonna copy Manely by using the Z-map and try it out first, but it didn't work. The decoupler and the other two devices were there, and the conic and egg shape fairings were there. The blue lines were not showing up (if they are supposed to anyway..) and no other attachment points were there either. So then I downloaded V3.11 and on startup the .dll file came up as incompatible with KSP, however, all the pars were still there, and repeated like above. Not sure what else to do as the FAQ doesn't expand much further from that. I only have a few other mods, but none of them use the same .dll, so I'm not sure what next to do.. edit: originally download 3.10 then got 3.11
  12. quick question... I have the x32 installer version of KSP, but I can use the x64 version too (I chose not to after reading it was unstable). Would changing versions do any help?

Hey guys... bad news (on my end at least) Friday night I started to tool around with building the ISS and had an issue where the game would lag extremely bad, but only when I would de-magnetize the Canada Arm from the CSS. I've only got Zarya in the air and this was Unity Node (1 or 2, not sure, but stage two for the ISS) and I was able to successfully get it to dock. I'm not sure if the issue is with the ISS or the CSS, but it happens as soon as I de-magnetize the Canada Arm. The ISS PMA adapter is shown attached to Zarya, but Unity Node disappears, and the shuttle disappears. I'll post this in the CSS thread to see if that's where the issue is, but I was curious as it begins from the arm. I've already built my own KSP space station and never had any lag issues at all, so it has me scratching my head.. Thanks.

  17. This fixed the issue.. I initially downloaded this two days ago when reading all the requirements for it, but when I started it up the game displayed an error message saying the Firespitter folder is incompatible with 0.25. I got a bit nervous, backed out and deleted the file so I never did go on to the VAB (finally figured out it's name) and build it. However, I downloaded it again, and although it still displays the same message it works fine. I took it up to 60km real quick to test, opened the doors, and then dropped back down onto the ground. The only issue now is I think the brakes are always on, but nothing to fret about because this isn't FS.. Thanks.

  19. This is most likely my cause. I originally did install, but on start-up it said the files were corrupt.. Thanks.
  20. 1. The cargo doors wont open at all, even when in the KSP rocket hanger (I really don't know any of the names but I think you get the point of that one). I attempted to go into orbit and while freely rotating I attempted it again... nothing, except for the electrical charge. 2. Hopefully I have them all... I commented on the video from S.E.P. and he gave me a few instructions as what to do... I am a bit unsure for some of files as to where they go after downloading, such as mechjeb, which I first went into all the files and put them in the matching name, then to realize on start-up it said how to place it. So for that reason, I hope not, that there is a possibility I have gone too far with installing the required mods in their correct locations.. 3. The gear wont open or shut (at least in space, if it is supposed to be in the atmosphere to open, then okay...).. The odd thing is, is that the gear is actually retracted but the covers wont retract, unlike how the main gear does. I also have the same ISS com pack which I plan to use. Thanks.
  21. Hello everyone! This is my first post here in the KSP forums, and hopefully I will be able to understand most of the lingo that goes on outside of the atmosphere (I'm pretty heavy into flight simulation and almost decided to become an airline pilot.... anyways, not the intro forums..). I have read these forums for the past day and a half almost to find everything I need to create the ISS and now the CSS. I've been running into some bumps along the way, and hope I can give some advice, and receive some help here. Specifically with the CSS, I am unable to open the cargo doors, at all. When I right click all I see is the electrical stats, an activate/deactivate key. No open, close, or whatever there is supposed to be there. It doesn't open when I select it from the parts on the left. Another issue is my nose landing gear won't retract back into the fuselage. Right clicking that doesn't help either. I've been basing off what should be happening with one of the forum members videos here (StrikeEaglePerch), who recomended that I post here: I just purchased the game last Sunday, I believe the 32x installer, and installed to my program files (not 86x), so hopefully I am up to the latest version. I have a bit of understanding as to how to install some of the mods (not that different from FS9 but enough to make me wonder where some certain files go) but I might get troubled along the way. If there is a solution, could anyone kindly tell me how to fix those two issues? Thanks.
