Never mind, KSP also crashes without E.V.E. today. Hello, I see clouds when starting the game, but it crashes after 10 to 50 seconds of gameplay. I installed E.V.E. via CKAN and nothing else. I even removed all remaining files in the Gamedata directory (except for the Squad directories). This is the steam version of KSP 1.12.2 running on Debian 11. What can I do to help resolve this (enable logging, attach some files here)? (Last week the game worked fine with 130 mods, including E.V.E., but I had no clouds, that's why I removed all mods and started again, hoping to get the clouds.) I hope this is the right place to ask for help.

Hello, I have a MacbookPro11,2 with Iris 5200 graphics (no extra video card!). Ever since KSP 1.2 the game is unplayable; for example huge framerate drop on Duna http://bugs.kerbalspaceprogram.com/issues/13480 Question: Is the game playable on a MacbookPro10,2 with Nvidia GeForce GT 650M ? And should I use MacOSX or Linux then ? thanks. edit: technical info on these macbooks https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MacBook_Pro#Third_generation

Finding Retrograde
Paul Cobbaut replied to Xyphos's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Issue #2: You can briefly timewarp to 5x and back to 1x right before it overshoots. This will stop the vessel from rotating past retrograde. -
No I would keep flags in Flags I think...

I really like using the categories in the tracking station to find rovers, landers, bases, debris and so on. What I miss in this list is a tag for historical sites. I don't want to terminate my first Mun lander, but I also don't want it in 'landers' or 'bases' (because it is no longer active). At the moment I rename all vessels that have served their purpose to 'history-vesselname', but a separate category would be nice. Thanks for this excellent game.

It would be nice to keep track of all flights (where, how long, which kerbals where on it). Same for the Kerbals; how many hours have they been in space, on EVA, where have they been, when did they join. How much science did each provide. And for the agency; how many flights went to Mun, Duna, ... Something like this: https://kerbalstuff.com/mod/898/Flight%20Statistic (I cannot get it to work on 1.0.4. using 64-bit Linux). cheers, paul

It is not hard to get very far in the science tree while staying around Kerbin/Mun/Minmus. I would propose to attach certain contracts to certain science nodes. I would not change the science points needed, but add additional constraints. For example: - required to have achieved orbit once before unlocking any of the 90points science nodes - at least two landings (or flags) on Mun and Minmus before unlocking any of the 160points science nodes - reach Duna space before unlocking a specific 300 science node - all buildings leveled up once before unlocking any 300 science node - having actually used small batteries in space before unlocking a science node with bigger batteries - having actually used simple solar panels in space before unlocking a science node with advanced solar panels Science is too easy if all you need to do is visit(or fly over) biomes on Kerbin/Mun/Minmus with a scientist.

Can't see space center anymore
Paul Cobbaut replied to Lagopus's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
Besides the obvious 'Have you tried without the mods?' ' and 'Please upgrade all mods.', I did have a similar issue until I disabled some video settings (anti aliasing and SPFF i think). Good luck. -

How to create a maneuver node ?
Paul Cobbaut posted a topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
I have played over 100 hours on 0.90 and created many maneuver nodes, but this seems impossible on 1.0 ? I have upgraded the tracking station, the launch pad and the admin building. But any mouseclick on the trajectory in map view is ignored (selecting a target works though). What do I need to do to be able to create maneuver nodes ? cheers, paul -
Chinese launch schedule 2015 infomation

The nasaspaceflight forum has a (rather complete) list of upcoming Chinese launches here. -
I can confirm the problem from the OP on Debian Linux 64-bit (on a Macbookpro Retina with Intel card). 00:01.0 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation Crystal Well PCI Express x16 Controller (rev 08) 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Crystal Well Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 08) Also confirm that turning off the anti-aliasing solves all problems. cheers, paul

Hello from Antwerp, I just made an account, been lurking a while. I use KSP on Debian Linux, 64-bit... with issues, but that is for another thread. cheers, paul PS Steam claims I played KSP for 5 minutes, but the reality is closer to 150 hours.
