  3. Orangutangs surf under fast helicopters. peyhiartn
  4. Granted. It becomes sentient and destroys humanity. I wish for a computer that is good enough.
  5. Kerbals suffer under badly traumatizing explosions. ldkobcd
  6. Banned for quoting yourself in your sig.
  7. Push the kerbal occupying his seat out the airlock. (It's ok, he'll land safely on his helmet) What would Jeb do if he were being pushed out an airlock?
  8. Quick adroit dogs bicker over game fowl. ytamzp
  9. Landed the beast of a rover I was experimenting with earlier on Duna. Nailed the landing first try, and on a 20 degree slope no less! I call it the DC-2 Scarab* The thing really drags my fps down, though. My computer no likey. Right now it's sitting at the head of one of the big canyons, and I'm pondering whether I dare try to drive down into it. It's pretty stable, but the low frame rate makes it hard to control... *the DC-1 broke up during a test reentry of Kerbin's atmosphere due to having parachutes calibrated for Duna, claiming the lives of two brave 4 star Kerbonauts...(also I forgot to create a quick save).
  10. An extremely high-tech potato. Or a barely adequate laptop. I have a hard time remembering which. specs: AMD X2 Dual Core QL-62 @ 2.0GHz 4GB DDR2 RAM nVidia GeForce 9100M
  11. Micky is xeroxing white oblong rockets down south. cxcferea
  12. Granted. The mirror comes uncollimated from the factory, and no amount of fiddling fixes it. I wish for omniscience.
  13. Might have to try that. I was hoping I wouldn't have to, because my computer starts turning into a potato once a craft starts getting much above 150 parts or so (and it's already at 220+ parts if you include the first and second stages), but it may be worth it. ETA: adding struts didn't work, either because I couldn't get them attached right or just because it's too big. Oh well, kids gloves it is (unless I can figure out how to edit joint strength in the .cfg file, anyway...)
  14. Currently it's ~11.5km/s to get off Eve. I think being able to mine resources will help a lot with that. It makes it much easier when you don't have to bring all that fuel with you....
  15. I just make sure my boosters have an extra 500-1000 dV. It's particularly nice when I've over-budgeted and my next stage consists of LV-N's... Yes, though it's unknown (AFAIK) as to whether or not you'll have to level them up before they'll provide it...
  16. Down with one million geese howitzers. kfdmnfdz
  17. Tylo is definitely the worst. Moho is a close second, if only because it's a pain to get to.
  18. Danny flounced jaggedly, killing Jack's knight. lxdfgj
  19. Check the "structural" menu for stack separators and decouplers. There's also a list of them here: http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Parts#Decoupler_and_Separator
  20. Granted. China takes its place, and is just as bad. I wish for whirled pees.
  21. .png or .gif with a transparent background works as well. It's what I do if I don't know what the background color will be when I want to match it.
  22. Now with screenshots (but no explosions )!
  23. No screenshots, but I've been testing a Mk3 based Duna Rover for a mission. I have to land a base that's on wheels, can hold at least 12 kerbals, has a research module, a cupola module, and all the rest. So far I've figured out that if my craft lands at anything above 10 8-9 m/s or so, it will break apart and explode. There's pretty much no margin for error...oh, and roving around at 4x warp is also a good way to have it break apart and explode. It's a rolling death trap. ETA: make that 8-9 m/s. I've had one successful landing at 7.5m/s. Last landing was at 9.1 m/s. Exploded. All other landings were higher than 10 m/s.
