  1. @Baleine Hi fellow BÉPOist! It seems that since patch 1.2.0 (perhaps 1.1.0, I did not test this one), some parts of the key binding has been fixed. At least, I don't have to assign the QWERTY equivalent key, but the BÉPO key in `InputBindings.json`. But now, I'm struck as I would like to have `é` mapped for pitch down. Did you find which keyword to enter in `InputBindings.json` for accentuated letters? Thanks!
  2. Intel i7-8700K 32GB of RAM NVidia GTX 1660TI Linux Mint 21.1 PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% with proton experimental. Game launches, but I struggle in the settings: It does not see my joystick I have an ergonomic keyboard layout with special letters all around (éèàç…) and I cannot assign them to actions (plus the 'e' bug mentioned here https://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/212336-bug-with-inputs/ )
  3. Thanks a lot for your help. I hope the devs will be able to correct that one day.
  4. Yes, I can use another layout, that's what I'm doing now to be able to play this game. But that's not a great experience having to switch layout each time I launch the game and each time I quit the game. Every other game and program I use recognise these keys (that are present on lots of layouts, the specificity of bépo is just that it is mixed with other keys in the middle of the keyboard, the keycode is not new at all). It must not be rocket science to be able to accept them, that's why I ask for it.
  5. I use a french variant of the dvorak layout named bépo. And the problem is that with that layout I do have a lot of non ASCII keys distributed among the keyboard, and cannot find a block of 6 keys without one to set up the moves.
  6. Hi, Unfortunately, neither "LC_ALL=C ./KSP.x86_64" nor "LC_ALL=fr_FR.UTF-8 ./KSP.x86_64" seems to do anything (tried both in terminal and Steam). In both case, I am stuck with the default behavior, that is keypress 'é' is ignored by KSP in settings/input. Is there a system variable / conf file to check and set? Thanks, Oygron
  7. Hi sal_vager, Thanks for the tip. But won't that imply that the actions set for 'e' and 'é' will both be done if I press the one or the other ? Thanks, Oygron
  8. Hi, As french user, some of my keys return non ASCII symbols, such as 'é'. When I want to customise my inputs, these keys are not accepted by KSP. Would that be possible to correct that ? Thanks in advance,
  9. Hi, I'm a french user with a custom keyboard (bépo, that's a dvorak style for french). In this keyboard layout, I have special characters (frequent in french) in the middle of the keyboard, such as 'é' or dead '^'. The problem is if I want to configure a wasd like control in my layout, I automatically have an accented key in the block, and when I press it in input settings, the result is "None". Would it be possible to allow them in the key binding process ? Thanks in advance, Oygron
