I took a stab at using fairing pieces to make the fuselage of a fighter jet to add that extra smoothness. It's a tough technique to master but the results were great minus fixing the CoM and CoL. 1200 m/s in the upper atmosphere. -
[1.2-1.7] Blender (2.83+) .mu import/export addon
ghostbuzzer7 replied to taniwha's topic in KSP1 Tools and Applications
@taniwha I can't express how happy I am to read about the revival of the .mu importer. Even more so that you took on the task to fix it. I always loved making renders out of this thing until it became outdated... and to see it come back again just opens up memories to this great blender addon. I've tried working around the code for this one but I got stumped by it. I guess my time away from KSP and the blender importer really came in effect. The game version was 1.4.3 and even a single part fuel tank craft would load up the axis but not the physical model. (and keep up the good work! It's exciting to see this addon resurface on this forum ) If the album doesn't work because I forgot how to work the forums too, here is the link. -
M-52 KERMAN Main Battle Tank What better way to come back to the forums, then to post your favorite thing to do: tanks! As usual, this tank is completely stock [NO MODS REQUIRED TO RUN]. It might be a little part intensive for low-end computers. No real need to list and specifications as they are all located on the video or the following album and spoiler below! If you choose to download it, just hit the "DOWNLOAD HERE" to be taken to kerbalX! Enjoy the pictures! and to the few who saw my publicly released video before I posted this here..... well played DOWNLOAD HERE ↓ PHOTO ALBUM BELOW ↓

A serious improvement from the QF-40 Light Tank made in version 1.0.5, the M-52 Kerman Main Battle Tank, is an echo to this outdated tank. Longer hull, shorter stock, and a better and more stable turret bearing, the M-52 Kerman has surely been the best of them all, hands down. Even though BDarmory can do this all in a couple parts, I enjoy every one of the 268 parts put into this thing. I might upload it to KerbalX as I do have an isometric view picture made which I'll put in here. -

Just a picture. Getting back to my usual stuff and changing systems to work with the new game. These new bearings hold a lot more compared to the previous models. That's all, continue with your day. -

Where do I begin... September 25, 2017 was my last visit on this forum. I still played the game on occasions but never really put anything out there like I used to do. Well I guess it's about time I come back. As you can imagine, 9 months is plenty of time to create over 30 forum-worthy crafts. Today, I thought it would be nice to show my new formula 1 2018 model! (A significant improvement from this) FULL ALBUM 146 Parts | 4.7 Tons | 6.5m x 2.3m x 2.1m (Length, Width, Height) | 32 m/s top speed | 5o degree camber | 6 tires in front | 10 tires in rear | Ugly halo installed -
We call her the all-in-one fighter jet. Advertisement Skit: Do you need a plane? We got you. Do you need mobile drill? We got you. Do you need a relay satellite? We got that covered too. You see with the "Average Fighter Jet", she packs everything need to do it all. She can even travel at a lightning fast 75 m/s at sea level, now that's some crazy speed for a mobile brick I'd say! Turn rate is around 15 degrees per second. We wanted to rethink fighter jets so rather than giving her bombs, she is the bombs (part clipped with 107 parts of glory and 57 tons). So come pick yourself your very own all in one. VOID if missing part(s)

Pfft, fighter jets.... I agree with you though, it is quite boring to I only make tanks, rockets, and occasionally things that are superior to every single vehicle in the game. See image below:

Haven't really mentioned too much about this F1 but I think It's all done... It's crazy low to the ground that even I'd recommend no crash damage because the terrain on the KSC is not flat... but to showcase how much downforce it has, I put no gravity on and it still stuck to the ground... and at the end of the gif, I overturned causing... well you'll see -

I honestly have no purpose for this but I think it looks pretty good, needs hack gravity to fly in kerbin like a "proper" sci-fi ship. -

I've Been testing out this bad boy (which for some reason is still called "lmao cannon" . Holds six shells and can fire 40 degree vertically... Now if only I can find the perfect chassis to actually mount this to something . Warning: antenna's have a slight chance breaking. VOID if missing -

@Servo Sure thing, I wouldn't mind one bit someone with far greater experience with these takes a look at my design. I'll shoot you a PM with the download. -

Though it will never be as clean looking as @Servo swept wing designs, its a start and it actually is stable and works after roughly 2 hours of testing. Open to any suggestions to clean up the design! EDIT: AND NO THIS IS NOT AN F-14 ITS JUST A BASE DESIGN FOR TESTING Note to self: Don't fast forward time.... also... I believe a plane would need those wings to actually fly... yet this 8.5 ton craft doesn't need it
