Just wanted to add that CareerManager and DistantObject mods are also conflicting with RVE in 1.0.5 -

I was able to find the conflict. USI Tools is preventing RVE to work. I know this for a fact. I will snoop through usi tools to try to find conflict. It cant be a memory limitation on my machine because I have 16gb RAM, am using x64 version on windows 7. -

@Ice30 I'm still investigating this as I ran into this too, but I am running many of mods. If I just install the RO suite, it works fine with the above method. However, If I add all my mods I get a conflict somewhere. I'm trying to narrow down which mod is the culprit. -

OK, so apparently with the latest realism overhaul and scaterrer 0.0220, you have to go settings, and then exit back to main menu in order to see clouds on main menu. -

I'm trying to get this to work with the new scatterer addition, and i'm using the adjustments that are listed on scaterer OP for RSS, but I am not having any luck. Does anyone have the version of scaterrer that is compatible with this? Their github doesn't have old version releases. Thanks. -

Hi there, this mod activates KSP Debug Console at launch every time. Its a bit annoying because I then have to close it. Can I disable this? Is it in the source or in some config file? Just noticed in OP: If this is correct than only Earth has clouds... lol I downloaded the "master" branch. I'll report back using Linux. -

I used Linux version. I am on Win64 however, with 64 bit workaround. executable up to 9.5gb ram during play, with over 100 mods. Perhaps mod conflict. I don't know if the version of EVE overhaul is latest. I grabbed it from the link in the OP. I also have Scaterer and put the correct RVE folders in GameData. However, the folders RVE and Environmental.... were not modified or even created prior to me putting them into the GameData folder from the RVE install, which tells me there are no mod conflicts. I don't have kopernicus or any other mods installed. I am using RSS with max textures size. However, I am using KSP 1.0.5 -

I just installed it and only Earth is cloudy. hmm... I will try another install, perhaps mod conflict. Anyhow, if what you say is true, I'm very excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!11 -

I hate to drop in like this but its been about 6 months and i'm back. I just downloaded this and Venus clouds don't exist yet, still. Venus clouds are a particular soft spot in my heart as Venus is the greatest planet landing challenge of all. Is the old Averoff fix still working? Can we merge Averoffs with current version of RVE? I might give this a go. -

Just looking for a clarification of installation instructions, because I wasn't able to get city lights to work for latest github release with latest RSS and KSP 1.0.4 "Requirements: RSS 10.0.2 EVE .Dlls provided here No other cloud configs present in gamedata e.g. like in BoulderCo folder." Does that mean I need RSS AND EVE installed first? Or just RSS? Thanks. -

I'm sorry that is incorrect, EVE citylights aren't working for RSS so the city lights for RVE would have to be added to the working RSS EVE mod the guy posted. And those are cfg files. -

It looks like the cfg is not where we want to look. We will have to dig through the C# and recompile citylights.dll, terrain.dll etc... -

I'm a bit confused. I thought RSS has all the ground textures, and the atmosphere files are already within Alexoff's mod? -

I removed EVE and RVE and just copied and paste his files into my GameData folder. Its that simple. Alexoff's clouds on Earth seem to be more numerous and possibly more realistic too. -
Alexoff, I experienced this issue with your mod too. KSP x64 1.02
