  1. Hoooooly..... - - - Updated - - - If we had some sort of role-playing thing in this forum, this would very much be the hit
  2. So, let me get this straight, if we can somehow land this in Eve, we could also get it out?
  3. With planes like these, generally smaller parts mean more stability...
  4. (Admittedly this was in stock aero, but if anything, that's more punishing than nuFAR!)That is.... interesting.
  5. Now the challenge would be to make it able to withstand 1200m/s at sea level
  6. SSTOs for looks only xD A multi-role light weight easy-to-fly SSTO capable of 80km LKO, to be used for shuttling crew, utility and research, and any other space endeavors. By default is unarmed, but features light armor plating (because you'll never know when you'll NEED armor plating) Additional features are having a K.L.A.W. in its rear and a fancy utility research bay laboratory complete with an ion escape pod, go figure Another multi-role SSTO with high maneuverability and relative ease of controls, capable of a stack 100km LKO. Designed for shuttling crew, or utility and research, or interplanetary endeavors if installed with an interplanetary engine module. Also has light plating to protect the ultra-sensitive engine cluster from... anything. Additional features are having 4 dawn ion engines for the super-efficient burns, and that fancy utility research bay laboratory complete with an ion escape pod. Also aerodynamically shaped like a star to fit your shooting star ascent profile Not a multi-role SSTO, well, not available for shuttling the least, but designed for interplanetary exciting-boring endeavors (interplanetary engine module required), capable of a 100km LKO, to be used for utility and research purposes, or a two-man mission to the unknown. Also has light plating for protection, because you can never get enough protection Additional features are having 4 dawn ion engines for the super-efficient burns, and that fancy utility research bay laboratory complete with an ion escape pod, and has a large fuel capacity for those delta-V rosters More previes - - - Updated - - -
  7. You can really see the signature cues of Rolfcopterkidlol in his crafts - - - Updated - - - Would you revise the White Lightning?
  8. Well, if we're creative enough... - - - Updated - - - The Boeing C-17 Globemaster III! The Lockheed C-5 Galaxy! A cancelled B-52 Stratofortress The Lockheed-Martin C130 Hercules! The McDonnell Douglas KC-10 Extender! The MINI Lockheed C-5 Galaxy! The Convair B-36 Peacemaker! The Boeing C-135 Stratolifter!
  9. You COULD Try RAPIERing it If your flight profile is good enough, you can crack 1200m/s with the turbo before it cuts at 23km or 1400m/s with the RAPIERs before they cut out at 26km Tip 1 RAM intake is overkill enough for a turbo, and slight more need for the RAPIER air hogging = Nah Try fuel efficient 40 degrees to 10km then go low on variable 5-10 degrees to Mach break until 19km, then pull up to 20 degrees to avoid burns, but by that time you should have gotten a good 1200m/s or an even better 1400m/s
  10. What's the power plant setup? From the looks of it, this craft seems possible for orbit given the right power plant and flight profile
  11. As majestic as it is, there is the critical weak spot where the mk3 hulls contract, a clustered Srb-5 could spilt the ship in half! - - - Updated - - - Well if it's gonna be carrier borne then it would most probably fall into those tiny fighters but oh well, these SSTOs aren't meant for that anyway xD - - - Updated - - - Isn't it rather troublesome to have it made larger? And there is the critical weak point of being able to behead the craft.
  12. I'm just excited, okay? Not seeing this in your channel is frustrating, stop giving the hypes - - - Updated - - - Sleek light armored SSTOs? Not much military potential, but really cool-looking recon spacecraft previes - - - Updated - - -
  13. Does it work for 1.0.2 though? - - - Updated - - - By the way, where did that quote from Scott Manley come from?
