  1. Hi all, After some excellent bugfixing help I am finally ready to leave earth's atmosphere and start doing some interplanetary missions. I know the basics due to stock KSP, but I haven't had to deal with inclination changes before since you start from the equator and all planets pretty much lie in the same plane. So assuming I already know enough about transfer windows and Hohmann transfer orbits, how do I get to Mars? The main difficulty for me are the inclination changes. (When) Do I change inclination, and how do I do my injection burn in the right direction? Basically, how do I move from stock KSP interplanetary transfers to RSS ones?
  2. Hi all, I'm wasn't really sure where to ask this, but I figured since it seems to be a campaign issue I might as well ask here. I have ported my 1.0.5 savegame to 1.1. Most things seem to be working fine, except for one weird bug I just encountered with the HG55 communotron. You see I have researched and bought this part but I cannot select it in the VAB stating that "an entry purchase in R&D is required" This is the communotron entry in the VAB And this is the entry in the R&D screen This might be a Kerbal Construction Time issue, but I was wondering if there was a way for me to resolve this manually, either through savegame editing or the debug console. Thanks in advance. EDIT: After some more searching I have found that a duplicate unresearched HG55 is created in the R&D screen. Each time I go back to the VAB the part is still not selectable and once I go back to the R&D screen there is another unresearched duplicate. EDIT: Also noticed the researched parts are called "Communotron HG-55" while the researchable part is called "HG-55 High Gain Antenna"
  3. This might be a really stupid question, but has anybody tried transfering their savegames from a 1.05 ckan RP0 install? Any issues I should be aware of? I already learned about the tweakscale fin bug and I know the soviet engine pack seems to be working but can anybody confirm if the FASA pack works without issues? I'm not using any fancy parts, just the engines and launch towers. Finally, a big thank you to the modders for making this happen! Even though it crashes every 5 flights and it takes about 10 minutes to boot due to memory issues, I have had an absolute blast playing tons of KSP thanks to you guys! Cheers all around
  4. Hey you guys. This might be either a really stupid or really common question, but I am currently running a heavily modded RO/RSS 1.05 install and I noticed a lot of the loading time seems to consist of applying the modulemanager patches. Now, since I don't plan on updating anymore mods due to the new version coming out, I was wondering if there was some way of making the modulemanager patches permanent shortening the loading time? Forgive me in advance if this has been answered before, but this seemed like a straightforward option, yet I could not find mention of it anywhere.
