  1. I am returning to KSP again. I am sticking with KSP 1 for now. As I rebuild my install with the Mod's I liked I am not surprised to find that some of the parts I loved to use back in v0.25 to 0.9 didn't make it past version 1.0. So here is my question: Before 1.0, IR had an expansion pack that included a few rover-wheels. Specifically there was a wheel modeled after the Mars Curiosity rover that I used on several of my more successful Mun rovers. I think the wheels were dropped due to the changes in Unity 5. Now that IR is under active development again, has there been any effort to revive those wheels, or are they simply lost-to-time?
  2. I mostly lurk in the forums and subreddits but I feel I need to write one small post. I've been playing KSP since 0.25 and I love the game. I've watched KSP and over time it defined how early access should be handled. It is where it is today largely due to community and MOD support that was embraced by the developers. That success has not gone unnoticed. If you look you'll see it replicated by other developers. The quality of games like Subnautica and the current EA Satisfactory have all benefited from the input of their community. Yes, there is controversy and history surrounding the ownership and some people associated with this game. It is palpable. Despite that I would say an EA release of KSP 2.0 would not go unappreciated. I think the development team and new owners should embrace the community. We still love this game and I feel that KSP 2.0 could only benefit from community engagement during its development. Please consider that we've been through this meat grinder before. The KSP community, while vocal, still loves the Kraken that is a beta KSP release. You can only benefit by taking us along for the ride.
  3. So the big 'Update' button on the launcher that has been broken since 1.0 isn't a viable vehicle for sending 1.1 pre-release updates to those of us who purchased KSP in the store and want to opt-in? I mean how hard is it to push an initial 1.1 pre-release on the KSP store with a working 'Update' button? Then we could get the multitude of 'build versions' just as easy as those using Steam. What's more, you'd have a good test bed of users using the now working 'Update' button.
  4. Unlikely. If you remove the index.php from the URL you get the 'website under maintenance' response. The server is responding. Either the PHP app is offline, broken during the migration, or the permissions for it are wrong on their server.
  5. Perhaps the website migration broke something or the permissions for the folder got messed up. I am getting 404 errors in my Patcher.log Patcher.log excerpt:
