  1. Does a completely stock (aside from MechJeb) Mach 5 capable plane count?
  2. I've been trying to recreate the Do-335 with those engines (otherwise using stock parts). It flies, but is nowhere near as maneuverable as the actual plane was supposed to be, and it literally takes me all the way until the edge of the shore to actually get off the ground (at which point, I'm only going around 105m/s, at full thrust).
  3. So, now that I know which set of mods in combination does it, and which set of mods do not, I'll try and figure out the specific combination. Will update the OP when I'm done.
  4. I've not encountered it in stock. It only appears with mods.
  5. So, I recently installed B9, QuizTech, Buffalo MSEV, Active Texture Management, and Universal Storage, and found that I can no longer use IVA or see any of the pilot portraits. I uninstalled every mod I have, and the issue was corrected. This has only popped up in the last two days, and those are the only mods I've added in that span of time. Any idea how to fix this? Edit: I've tried them each in isolation, and none of them are causing it to happen. Also, I'm using the latest versions of everything. Edit 2: I've ruled out the following mods: DMagic, KAS, KIS, TakeCommand, SpaceY, MRS, Kerbal Planetary Base Systems, SCANsat, MechJeb2, and Infernal Robotics. Edit 3: After finally getting some more free time, I've found that it seems to happen when I install QuizTech with B9 (though not when using QuizTech by itself). The issue seems to be resulting from QuizTech's version of Firespitter being out of date. Issue seems to be fixed by replacing the version in QuizTech's GameData folder with the most recent version of the plugin.
  6. Actually, I just noticed a problem with MJ. I was trying to land an unmanned probe on the Mun, and used the Landing Autopilot. Only for it to not work. It successfully deorbited, but didn't even try to do a descent burn. EDIT: Uh, disregard. Figured out I didn't have enough delta v in my design.
  7. I had that same issue with parts going through the service bays. The one time I tried it, I put a few batteries and MJ inside, and found MJ dancing around the bottom of my spacecraft in orbit.
  8. So, just did the full stock run (not even MJ), with a design guaranteed to keep the fairings from leaving, and yes, it seems to be caused by fairings sticking to the craft. Just after launch. Just after jettisoning the first set of fairings, which had nothing keeping them in place. Just after jettisoning the second set of fairings, which had modular girders acting as a cage to keep them in contact with the craft. Zoomed out screenshot after noticing the apoapsis indicator in the previous shot, notice how it stays in the same place on the screen. Aside from not having an orbit connected to it, it seems to work normally, though I should note I didn't check for a corresponding perapsis indicator.
  9. Actually, I believe it was (I reverted the flight). I'll do another one with stock parts and see if the problem still persists.
  10. I should note that in staging mode, my altitude was somewhere in the 90-95km range. Aside from MJ 2.5, I have DMagic Orbital Science 1.0.2, KIS 1.1.1, SpaceY 0.12.2, and Modular Rocket Systems 1.6.2.
  11. I use MJ for pretty much everything. In my defense, I suck at gravity turns, and can't manage to use the keyboard controls to correct my craft quick enough to avoid pointing the nose at the surface. This is also the reason I suck with planes. Back when I had the demo, I literally just did my gravity turn as soon as I hit 70km.
  12. SpaceX confirmed for RL KSP. Honestly, I can't pick any single song, though. I've got an entire playlist. I have no life.
  13. Thanks, I had a feeling it'd be something ridiculously simple like that. And yeah, I've got fully upgraded everything.
  14. I'm setting up a space station for research/refueling,but I can't figure out how to transfer fuel from docked craft to the station itself.
