  1. Thanks for the link to the Universe Sandbox forum stupid_cris. I had read that in the initial post was wasn't sure it was true. Maybe C7 likes birthing space games. Now I can look forward to Universe Sandbox 2! - - - Updated - - - I'm nearly 100% sure those were designed by Bac9. anyone?
  2. Does anyone know where C7 is going? I still remember when his mod pack first came out and how cool it was to see him join the dev team.
  3. -T-Pilot395 It is a pain to make it that long. I used the 1m plane cockpit that is flat on both sides. Move the pod as far away as you can and build out one side. Then just copy the side you built and rotate the pod. I hope in .17 that you can zoom out farther. The propeller is from the Jupiter sub mod. I also used the tail fins from this mod as they are intended to be used in the water.
  4. Great mod, thanks for adding engines in the update. I stuck a tower on the side and made it as long as I could. Pre-update rig <a href="http://imgur.com/65Ej2"><img src="http://i.imgur.com/65Ej2.png" title="Hosted by imgur.com" alt="" /></a>[img/] I just put wheels on the bottom and rolled it into the water. <a href="http://imgur.com/Z2uDr"><img src="http://i.imgur.com/Z2uDr.png" title="Hosted by imgur.com" alt="" /></a>[img/] Finally landed one with out exploding <a href="http://imgur.com/hKvfx"><img src="http://i.imgur.com/hKvfx.png" title="Hosted by imgur.com" alt="" /></a>[img/] Sorry for dark images. Textures would make this even more amazing.
  5. Sad news. I feel like this is the best mod, hands down, and now it's broken. I posted in the Damned Robotics thread too but they seem more interested in texturing the broken parts than making them work properly...
  6. Any word on a fix for the twitches while in orbit? This is a great mod and I want to use it to make a docking arm but this makes it impossible.
  7. Have you found a way to fix the "twitching" in .16 yet? I am trying to make a docking arm but after i move a single joint once in orbit it twitches and freaks out all around throwing the ship in chaotic twists and spins...
  8. Frequently switching ships just long enough to turn on the s.a.s is the way I dealt with the rotation issue. Tommygun- As far as turning goes the kerbals seem to figure it out for themselves. Just make sure the ladders are at the same lvl and when you get to an intersection just hit right (D) or left (A) and they usually turn onto the new ladder. You can turn a 360 at any intersection. Testing ladders pre-launch is important too.
  9. Thank you. I re-posted it in general discussion because I thought I screwed up the post here.
  10. I wanted a safer way to transfer crews between command pods than all that flying around. I saw other people use lander legs to dock and went from there. I used a 1.25m adapter as a target to grab onto while making sure to strut everything together. The 2 wing pieces were used to isolate a ladder and make a safe place to hang on. All EVAs were done without letting go. Rendezvous at 250km Docking ever so slowly First crew transfer Party in the crew tank I'm really looking forward to .17 and the challenge of all the new planets and moons.
  11. I love EVAs but wanted a better, safer way to transfer crews while in orbit. This is what I came up with. A hard dock using lander legs and a 1.25m adapter. With the ladders extended the Kerbals can freely climb between ships. The 2 wing pieces were used to isolate a ladder to make a safe waiting place. Rendezvous at 250km Docking slow and steady First crew transfer Party in the crew tank
  12. http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=11504.0 I started with just a few but ended up with all of these, I think.
