[1.8] EnvironmentalVisualEnhancements [1.8.0-2]
Aluminum Oxide replied to Waz's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Hi, is there a way in the config file to adjust brightness, cos I want to get some of my clouds and aurora visible on the night side of the planet. Thanks -
Hi Could you kindly give me guidance on how to fix a problem with creating mods through first using google sketch-up, then inporting it into blender and converting it, then loading unity for .mu export. Using several tutorial videos here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dy12jzUBG4Q and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1YZdrBp2dJE I was able to create an office printer (which would work well with the already existing Furniture Mod), but when I export the file (using part tools) in the .mu format, the file is literally 90 bytes (i.e. no rendering or textures) and instead does load up with the custom config file but doesn't show the part or any item renderings in my KSP VAB. If anyone knows how to step-by-step make a KSP simple part mod though Google Sketchup to Blender to Unity, I would greatly appreciate if anyone gives me the steps. My spects: Unity version 5.2.4f1, and the part tools plugin and package. Thanks

Hi, does anyone know how to modify the 6-seat mk3 cockpit mod in a way to make it 8 Kerbal seats (6 on the upper main deck, and two on the mid deck, and possibly more). I've tried to modify the .cfg files and the seat props work but the kerbals and camera view doesn't work. I'm trying to replicate the real life shuttle mission with 8 astronauts aboard STS-61-A Mod itself:https://spacedock.info/mod/252/6 Seat Mk3 Cockpit Config file Exerpt >> @PART[mk3Cockpit_Shuttle] { @CrewCapacity = 8 @description = A cockpit for those die hard explorers. Especially useful when transporting extra crew to a remote rock to save the day. Note: Passengers on the lower level complained about the view so the rear seats have now been moved to the flight deck. } @INTERNAL[MK3_Cockpit_Int] { @MODULE[InternalSeat],0 { name = InternalSeat seatTransformName = Seat_Right portraitCameraName = Camera_Right allowCrewHelmet = false kerbalEyeOffset = 0, 0.02, 0 } @MODULE[InternalSeat],1 { name = InternalSeat seatTransformName = Seat_Left portraitCameraName = Camera_Left allowCrewHelmet = false kerbalEyeOffset = 0, 0.02, 0 } MODULE { name = InternalSeat seatTransformName = Seat_Right001 portraitCameraName = focus_W5 allowCrewHelmet = false kerbalEyeOffset = 0, 0.02, 0 } MODULE { name = InternalSeat seatTransformName = Seat_Left001 portraitCameraName = focus_W5 allowCrewHelmet = false kerbalEyeOffset = 0, 0.02, 0 } PROP { name = Seat_Passenger position = -0.63,0.451,0.285 rotation = 0,1,0,-1.629207E-07 scale = 1,1,1 } PROP { name = Seat_Passenger position = 0.63,0.451,0.285 rotation = 0,1,0,-1.629207E-07 scale = 1,1,1 } }

SPACE STATIONS! Post your pictures here

Dear all users Check out the most realistic reconstruction of the International Space Station in Real Solar System. It's an all in one video, contains the entire assembly sequence based on actual manuals of the construction of the real ISS from NASA! Its on this link on my Al2O3 channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zSLV-pzqUp0 -

All users Must watch: check out my International Space Station construction movie in KSP Real Solar System, the very first of its type. It's a very accurate ISS built using ISS community, real scale boosters and Kosmos mods. The assembly sequence is based on actual manuals from NASA and ESA! It's also an all-in-one film, no need for episodes! The music is very romantic, check it out on this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zSLV-pzqUp0&t=1736s on Aluminum Oxide channel! Enjoy. -

Hi, is there a way to adjust the earth's atmosphere colors' heights using the config files; because scatterer normally does it for the old version of RSS on 1.0.4. But since i have the latest version of RSS for KSP 1.1.3, the atmosphere colors altitudes (height) are unrealistically high, for example the upper blue layer is around 200 km up but I'm trying to re-scale it to 30km up. Can u help? Example of a rescaled atmosphere colors realistically using scatterer (previously achieved in old RSS version) RSS earth colors too high -
The mods i've installed is the updated version of Kopernicus and KSP 64k (along with sigma). The buttons i press to set the orbit inclination are in the following order: Tracking station -> Hyperedit -> Orbit Editor -> (selected e.g. Kerbin) -> (tab brings up options of orbital inclination) -> set orbit inclination from 0 degrees to 23.5 degrees -> save planet (also comes up with a message sating "saves planet to config file, so it stays even after a restart...." -> restart game -> reload KSP 1.1.3 -> gone to resume saved - NASA -> tracking station -> observed planets reverted back to their default position. This problem still persists!
-
I'm making all the stock kerbin planets inclined to 23.5 degrees to create the realistic seasons. I then click "save planet" to fix it to the config file but when i restart the game, for some reason it reverts all the orbit inclination of the planets to their default position; even after repeated times to re-do the inclination. Could you kindly tell me what this problem is, as this has never happened before prior to 1.1.3 update? thanks

The issue is the fact that the planets are not rescaling. The Kopernicus mod was downloaded from this link: Also, the Kopernicus log file doesn't appear in the Kopernicus folder in Game Data. Dunno what the rescale problem is. This mod is irresistible, and i had no issues with it in KSP version 1.1.2 Thanks -

Aluminum Oxide replied to strider3's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Hi, is there a way to downgrade KSP version 1.1.3 to 1.1.2 on Steam? As I'm experiencing technical issues with the KSP 64k mods that work on 1.1.2. Thanks
