  1. The question is in the title, I imagine not, as that seems quite daunting to implement, but it would be really interesting to see the MET clock on board a spacecraft to reflect to time elapsed on board the ship, or to run into the exponential decrease in acceleration as you approach c. Even accounting for the 0.1x scaling of the Kerbolar system, distances to the nearest stars will still likely be measured in light years I imagine, so these long range crafts will likely want to reach these speeds, which is why I wonder if KSP 2 plans to tackle it. Interested to hear what you guys think!
  2. My submission to the K-Prize! I've always had the ability to complete this, but decided to get it done and over with. I had a lot of fun doing this challenge, and it's great to see that people are still attempting it! Anyway, here's my submission, featuring the Long-Range Prototype Spaceplane!
  3. In the current base game, a lot of the Contracts we see relate to testing out different parts. Yet, these parts are infallible no matter how much they are tested. I am proposing that all parts in Career mode exclusively be given a reliability rating, like 90, 80, or 70%. This value determines if a part is to fail, however, with increased testing and flight-proven success, that rating increases. What are your thoughts?
  4. Thanks for checking, after this mission I will be spending much longer on the next one I make, as this was merely more of an experiment rather than a full-blown mission, nonetheless thanks for doing something I haven't had much time to do myself.
  5. Thanks for the feedback! I just updated it with a 'nerfed' version that is much easier than the original. Now it doesn't check for inclination changes, another thing, those two issues have now also been fixed. Thanks again for the help!
  6. So first the issue. I think I understand what happened. From the looks of it after you repaired it after EVA, what happens is the game is it runs a check to see if you repaired the engine, then it runs 2 blocks in the mission builder. I've got a fix, so don't worry about it, I'll update it tomorrow. Now for you @Z4ys, I am going to post a small patch tomorrow, that will include fixes to your problem and @Judicious Use of Boosters 's problem. Thanks for the great feedback! It helps tremendously and will have an effect on the future missions I will make!
  7. Hmm, looks neat, might have some fun with this tonight. That seems pretty interesting, good job.
  8. Looks like a fun challenge that I might try sometime tonight, great job!
  9. Thanks, hope you enjoy it! I've been messing around with prototypes for a good 3 days now so I'm glad I finally have had the opportunity to post this, been up since 1 o'clock messing around with the editor.
  10. A Rescuer's Worst Nightmare! It isn't looking so good at the moment for the Kerbal Space Program; Their second science mission to the mun has gone poorly, Val has crashed far away from home, with no hope of getting back. Meanwhile at the Woomerang Launch Site, they are on the verge of going bankrupt. Their Contractor for the mission, Jebediah's Junkyard And Spaceship Parts Co. has denied full payment for the mission until Val gets back. They also haven't refurbished the launch pad, making it unstable for loads more than 100 tons in mass. Out of money, and with a damaged launch pad, it is up to you to save Val! We are counting on you!
  11. I am currently working on an Apollo 13 mission, and when I try to fail a part on the spacecraft at a certain elapsed time, when I go to select what ship part on the fail part node, the screen is black, and I cannot select any part on my ship, if anyone can help, I'd certainly appreciate it.
  12. Could I have my name changed to Gaming Kraken? When I created this account some years ago I still hadn't chosen a permanent username, now that I have one I would like to request a name change.
  13. Does anyone have a solution to the smoke in space when using Hot Rockets in Stock KSP? It's bugging me so much because when ever I reach space LT series rockets like the LT-45 LT-30 etc produce a large amount of smoke in space. Anyone have a solution?
  14. Well since EVE has now updated to 1.1 maybe soon (Like a few months, mod development can take a while) a new version compatible with 1.1 and beyond could end up working. Earlier back in 1.0 I tinkered around with the planetary haze from the original .25 version of BA and found it did work but I am not really sure if it is compatible with Unity 5. Anyway later I could try and tinker with those files and see if they work. Maybe things are looking up for this mod after a long while!
  15. That was the best trailer for a game I have seen in years! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
