  1. Something like that happened to me when i was about to land a SSTO in 1.02 I wasn't using Hyperedit at the time and i don't think Kerbal Engineer does that. It became nearly uncontrollable, but I somehow got it to the runway. Then this happened:
  2. Well, according to Wikipedia, NATO calls it "Flanker-E" so... 8/10 big and economic Tu-160 Blackjack
  3. I'll add 8x symmetry RV-105 RCS blocks on the Science lab. BUILD IT! Next module: Fuel tanks I'll start with the biggest probe core and a senior docking port on the top.
  4. 5/10 I don't like getting flanked I guess this one doesn't need introduction...
  5. I'll add 4x symmetry RTGs between those Illuminators and a SC-9001 Science Jr. over that same reaction wheel. I guess the Science equipment is the last thing we should put on this first module.
  6. I'll add the same on the other side of the lab, so that we have balance during the launch. I also add 4x symmetry Illuminator mk1 lights on the reaction wheel near the docking hub pointing to the docking ports, so that they are easily visible on the dark. I think we should skip the rocket itself and let the builder put things in orbit the way he wants, so we can focus on building the station's modules and make things simpler.
  7. I feel like this thread is dying right before my eyes Can someone fix things here?
  8. the discombobulator refused
  9. Are we talking about the Bop Space Kraken? Because we have no nuclear engines or liquid fuel stages. If we are going to Bop using conventional engines and fuel, the rocket is going to be HUGE! Either way, i add a 3,5m decoupler under that Rhino and add two S3-14400 tanks under it.
  10. I'll add OX-STAT solar panels on the other end of those I-Beams. Also add two Z-400 batteries on the side of the command pod. Is someone going to build the previous one?
  11. Well, if we invert posts and slightly change one word, we have "When a gigantic space kind of gorila chose tech wisely..." If everyone agrees with these changes, I'll continue with "... to build huge..."
  12. There is nothing that 6 people and lots of overengineering can't do I got confused because he said Anyway, i'll add a Mainsail engine under that Orange tank, a decoupler under the Mainsail and a Kerbodyne ADTP-2-3 under the decoupler.
  13. 9/10 awesome, but too expensive. The XF-84H Thunderscreech, the fastest propeller-driven aircraft.
  14. Hey, let's elaborate a conspiracy theory around it! It could be fun! I say it's some kind of subliminary message from the Illuminati or the reptilians. What do you think?
  15. Ok... So I'll add a 0.625m decoupler under that Ion engine and put a FL-A10 adapter (0.625-1.25m) under the decoupler. Then, put a FL-T800 tank under and a LV-T45 swivel under that adapter. And what battery do you mean with "largest battery"? the Z-400 or the Z-4K?
  16. I'm confused. Is this a multistage Ion Probe?
  17. I knew it was overengineered, look at the fuel tank! Also, as for the solar panels, i suggest putting 6x symmetry OX-4L 1x6 un-retractables on the girder segment, so that it fulfills both of our requests. Note: I'm not asking for extra solar panels, just to be clear.
  18. Wow. I was reading the third book and made that quote my signature a few days ago. I didn't even know there was a thread about this!
  19. Since we are talking about Ion engines, I add 4x symmetry OX-4L 1x6 solar panels to the Girder Segment. I also add a small inline reaction wheel on the top of the probe core.
  20. ^^ My situation is the almost the same. I say almost because i can't even accept the deaths that were my fault. Let's just say that F5 and F9 are my favourite keys...
  21. Wouldn't that mess up with skycranes? Also, doesn't the trim work that way already?
