To celebrate the 4th of July, the Kerbals decided to do something special...

Added a small replica of the golden record from Voyager. After finishing this part I saw that someone else is making a Voyager replica, which includes the golden record, so when they finish their pack I may take down this one.

Can\'t remember any specific failures at the moment, but here\'s one from today. Had a smooth landing in an airplane, but as soon as I turned on the brakes, chaos ensued.

I was actually thinking of naming it PAL 9000, but I thought that would sound ridiculous.

The pod and body of the craft are from Down Under Aerospace, and the solar panels are from Kosmos SSPP (yes, they do aim at the sun).

I\'m no rocket scientist, but I think widening the engine would increase the burn rate, while increasing the size would give more fuel, resulting in a longer burn time. Of course when it comes down to it, it just depends on what\'s in the part.cfg.

Is the headlight from the video in the download? I can\'t find it anywhere, and it\'s not on the .craft for the rover.

From what I can see of the debris, it looks like you landed with a lot of horizontal speed, which can be countered with the RCS translation controls (I,J,K,L).

Have you tried adding landing legs?
