  1. I really wish I had the patience to learn how to play Dwarf Fortress, from what I\'ve heard it seems like a really great game.
  2. Well if I didn\'t have 1 person orbiting then it wouldn\'t have been like Apollo.
  3. I mean the landing was done the way Apollo did, as in 1 man stayed in orbit while 2 others went to the surface, and came back up later.
  4. I\'ve been wanting to do an Apollo style mission for a while now, and even though we don\'t have docking, we can still transfer crew members. Please note this ship was edited into orbit around the Mun, I was just trying to see if I could pull it off so I didn\'t want to waste time developing a rocket. Here is the album, with captions for the pictures: http://imgur.com/a/GJyab
  5. If you really want to use your old ships, I heard that if you add in the Mk1 cockpit from older versions it makes your ships compatible again. However, I believe you\'ll need to edit the newer Mk1 pod to make sure the game won\'t over-write it.
  6. Wow, when I first tried it the only feature was the drag and drop, and I didn\'t really feel like it was worth it, but these new versions are great. I hope more mod makers use that protocol so that I just have to click download and be done with it. Very lazy-friendly.
  7. The ML-X5 is a prototype Mun rocket capable of landing and returning a kerbal from the Mun. The rocket was designed to be very compact, so it only has as much fuel as it needs for its mission. The first stage of the ML-X5 is a group of 6 solid rocket boosters to get you in the air. Once you eject the SRBs, the main engine ignites and will carry your rocket to an orbital altitude. The third stage is designed to circularize your orbit, perform the Munar transfer, and circularize a low orbit around the Mun. The fourth and final stage will take you to the surface and is capable of returning you to Kerbin. Be warned, the low amount of fuel on the lander means that you have to be very careful with your flight profile, or else you won\'t have enough fuel to return.
  8. There\'s no entrance, if I don\'t want them going through the walls I\'ll just bring them back inside before warp
  9. Just so you know, this happens when you get an escape trajectory from one of Kerbin\'s moons.
  10. Haha, I\'m glad I\'m not the only one here that likes Locomotion Cleaned up my desktop a bit, how\'d I do?
  11. I average around 30-40 wpm. I never did learn to type properly, I only use my thumb, index, and middle fingers (occasionally my ring finger) when typing.
  12. Wow. After looking at everyone else\'s pictures I feel the need to clean my desktop. This is a picture of my main monitor, my second monitor is just used for IRC.
  13. It really is hard to find a building that doesn\'t have 2 or 3 zombies around it, I usually have to crawl past places so that I won\'t start a zombie train by accident =P
  14. It could probably make for a good slideshow then
  15. I think it would be nice to have a public release of accessories, but the testers could still have something exclusive
  16. Made another attempt at playing DayZ, ran along the beach for a while until I found 2 dead players by a broken down UAZ. All I could find on them were 2 shotgun shells, and the UAZ had the option 'Save UAZ'. I clicked that and the UAZ was fixed all of a sudden, but it still kept saying 'Save UAZ'. Walked along the beach for another 15 minutes before I found a city and started getting chased by zombies. It didn\'t end well.
  17. It\'s not as if 0.16 broke compatability for this, you can still use it.
  18. When I read the topic I thought you had stranded him in orbit and accidentally made a Halley\'s Comet ;P
  19. Eh, muncastle sounds better.
  20. It\'s not a cover up, my uncle works for Squad and he told me no multiplayer yet. Sarcasm, in case you can\'t tell
