Node Burn Time Formulae(RESOLVED)
MrWilliam932 replied to MrWilliam932's topic in Science & Spaceflight
Ok thank you all, i think it's correct, it gives me around 4s that is pretty reasonable -
Node Burn Time Formulae(RESOLVED)
MrWilliam932 replied to MrWilliam932's topic in Science & Spaceflight
Yes i have: ISP= 270s Fuel consumption= 63,73kg/s TWR=2,49(5,93) Total Burn Time=62,75s Max deltaV=2295,5m/s Thrust = 200kN Mf = 6900kg Me= 2900kg so Fuel mass is = 4000kg If I need to get a deltaV of 117m/s how much time I have to burn the engine I only need the equation. -
Node Burn Time Formulae(RESOLVED)

Yes but, I don't know the fuel I'm gonna use. -
Node Burn Time Formulae(RESOLVED)
MrWilliam932 replied to MrWilliam932's topic in Science & Spaceflight
It's a good aproximation, but i need the formula for exact burn time, including the lose of the burned fuel, but thank you anyway -
Hi, I started doing calculations of Orbit translations. I know how to calculate: Data related to the rocket TWR Total DV Total burn time ISP Fuel consumption (kg/s) Data related to the orbit Speed at certain point of a orbit (round or elliptical orbit) Escape Velocity DV needed for change orbit (plain or inclined) DV needed for an inclination change Now I want to know how many time I have to make a burn to get the DV i need, but I didn't find nothing conclusive. So, what I need to know ?

Radial exits for Mk1 Crew Cabin
MrWilliam932 replied to MrWilliam932's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
So, if I had 100 kerbals, Would I have to transfer them one by one into the command pod and then EVAing them again one by one? I think its more easy to click EVA on the portrait and they EVA to the nearest exit they have acces -
Install or change parts in space
MrWilliam932 replied to Aegis_Lord's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Yes please, It would be perfect, Stock KIS/KAS mod would be awesome -
I would like you to add the capability of adjust maneuver nodes by entering instead of only Drag handles (or whatever they're called)

If we have 3 crew cabins conected in a row and I want to EVA one kerbal in the middle one, game tells me "Hatch is obstructed, can't exit", so if i want to EVA that kerbal, system could detect how many conected cabins are in the vessel and auto-EVA the kerbal to the nearest un-obstructed exit and viceversa, If a kerbal wants to enter a craft, and the cabin that is trying to enter is full, automatically it goes to the nearest connected cabin with empty seats.

I think that we need bigger wings to attach Goliath motors, for example, the wings of the Stearwing A300 don't look good (from my point of view)

Please make fairing staging toggleable.

Yes, I need that too +1 -
*Inventory system: Engineers could have an inventory to store tools to repair broken parts, for example: if i break a solar panel and parts are scattered on the floor, then the enginner goes and pick up all parts and repair the solar panel. Scientists's inventory will be for store more experiments than the other members of the crew or surface samples *IVA improve: Kerbals could be able to move inside a station or a base and use the stuff inside: Enginner can pick up tools from the "tools crate" inside the lab Scientist can extract science experimenting with surface samples and subject them to different conditions(like different atmospheric pressures, temperatures...)
