Last time I saw a launch was.... never. Apparently the first time I went to the cape there was a launch, but I was in an Imax theater at the time.

The opposie of dark matter is normal matter, I believe, an I'm not sure that's possible. For all we know, normal warp drive is not possible.

Yeah man, you're really lucky.. I've been down there twice before. But my grandfather was an air traffic controller not too far from Edwards. (There was actually an astronaut who lived on their street)

Yeah, not much here either... But my dad also was working at a hotel where the space shuttle astronauts were testing Enterprise, and after becoming friends with them, they hired him to tend a party which had them and multiple other test pilots, including Bruce Petersen, the test pilot who lost his eye in a lifting body crash.
