Hello, I saw a few great images by @esinohio on steam and was blown away, I was wondering how these images can be rendered. To be more specific, would these be rendered with C4D? Are the rigs custom made or public for download? What topic would these be discussed under if I were to discuss it on the forums. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=303829877 http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=404018045 http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=444337010

I have tried installing tweakscale but it does not want to work. I am in v1.05. Here is a list of my mods currently installed: Custom Flags (A folder where I have put my own flags into the game) KAS (Kerbal Attachment System) KIS (Kerbal Inventory System) KOS (Kerbal Operating System) Mechjeb2 Squad (default) Tweakscale

What I hate about KSP forums/IRC! (not a moan, don;t worry!)
BowWhalley replied to kiwi1960's topic in The Lounge
I am 15, and I show my dearest respect to all ages, though I do easily get sick of the kids 13 and under who think they are top stuff and priority. I am quite surprised that some kids haven't realised that its people like you who got us where we are today in computer technology. Heck... 20 yrs ago, the people working on this stuff now were only teenagers or younger. People should give benefit of the doubt when it comes to age, but when it comes down to it, age isn't even that important. -
I have heard of SpaceX and been a fan for quite a while, though this was still a great achievement from Blue Origin. I agree with what you are saying, I am proud of my achievement and am not looking to stir trouble about who is better.

To those who do not know, recently a company by the name of 'Blue Origin' successfully sent a capsule up on an sub-orbital flight with a single stage booster. This booster later successfully landed in the dessert of Texas. This is quite a tricky stunt to pull off and I have recreated it in KSP without any mods. Below you will probably see some images of my re-creation, if not then click here. I am sure this process can be automated with KOS for guaranteed success every-time, though I have chosen not to do so at this time. Click here to get the .craft file of the spacecraft. [imgur]fsZJn[/imgur] <-- If you have any idea on how to get this to work, please let me know.

Bug, Fully LVL up everything.
BowWhalley replied to BowWhalley's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, unmodded installs)
I have just tested this again, I could reproduce it after closing and re-opening KSP. I tested this and it still has the weight limits and same parts as before, this is just a visual bug. Sorry in advance, for the horrible audio, I used the built in laptop mic. -
sounds like what happens on windows in the x64 version. (just a dispay-bug, facilities have not the upgraded functionality) are you running 32 bit or 64?
64, Pretty sure all macs are 64. Also cheers Claw for moving this to a different/More suitable topic :). -
Hello, I did not know where else to put this. This is more less a bug/cheat report. I upgraded my tracking station, I went to click away but accidentally clicked the 'enter' button. I rapidly clicked the esc key on my keyboard and then everything at KSC was fully upgraded. I was able to revert my career mode back to normal by re-entering the tracking station and letting it load, then clicking the 'exit' button. I am on a Mac, KSP V1.05, Steam. I am happy to post video evidence of this.

Force Update Kerbal Space Program on Steam.
BowWhalley replied to BowWhalley's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
No, that wouldn't cause it to downgrade. Right click it in the Steam List, click properties. Click Betas at the top. Make sure it is set to Opt out. Click updates, make sure it is set to always update. Click Local Files, Click Verify Integrity of Game Cache. If that doesn't do it, contact Valve, cause your Steam is really messed up.
Unfortunately I may have too goto the last one :/. I have un-installed it and am re-installing it now. If that doesn't work (Which is should work though) but if it doesnt, I will contact valve. -
Force Update Kerbal Space Program on Steam.
BowWhalley replied to BowWhalley's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
You didn't put yourself in the 'beta' program did you? Steam doesn't usually downgrade anything.
Im not sure, but it happened when I installed hyper-edit. -
1.1.2 Magic Smoke Industries Infernal Robotics 2.0.2
BowWhalley replied to sirkut's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I attempted editing it in the .craft file but failed. Any help with this would be great. -
1.1.2 Magic Smoke Industries Infernal Robotics 2.0.2
BowWhalley replied to sirkut's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I have a suggestion / fix idea. I have issues setting a min and max to a specific number. Using a slider is just too difficult, I want to set it to a min of 45 and max of 225 but have to play around a lot just to get it to that. I am hoping you can add the same buttons from changing speed and acceleration to changing min and max . I am happy to go without this being implemented if there is any way I can change its value in the .craft file. (If it is possible, please tell me how I can do it) Apart from that, it is a very great and awesome mod. -
Mods for electric propellor
BowWhalley replied to BowWhalley's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Works, thanks. Though it uses a ton of electric charge, I had to put on infinite electricity. -
I am curious and want to make a plane that flies forever, my plan is to use solar panels to charge batteries that keep it going during night. My biggest problem is that all the stock engines require non-renewable resources. I am looking for any mod that has electric propellors that only require electricity to run. This idea was inspired by Nasa tests and Scott Manley's video.

Reverse Multiple Engines Simultaneously
BowWhalley replied to BowWhalley's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Thankyou guys, action groups completely skipped my mind . Don't use engines that reverse thrust. I don't think there is any other way, unless their is a key combination for reversing thrust. -
I want to be able to reverse all engines simultaneously, if I reverse one engine at a time than the plane changes angle ect as you may expect, only solution to that is to not run the engines when switching them, though how can I reverse them all simultaneously without turning off the engines. Answer: Action Groups.

Why is my Custom Action Group not working?
BowWhalley replied to BowWhalley's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Thanks . I don't see why someone would jettison an engine alone, when you would then have to carry the fuel tank which adds extra un-needed weight. -
Why is my Custom Action Group not working?
BowWhalley replied to BowWhalley's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
No. I'll put a decoupler below it. I guess the jettison, just jettisons the heat shield and not below it. -
I have set my Custom Action Group 1 to Jettison the heat shield. Unfortunately when I goto trigger it, it doesn't do anything. I checked the controls and made sure I had it set properly and was pressing the proper key. If it helps, I am using the 2.5m. Please let me know if you need any more information about the craft.

Hello, I am running MechJeb 2 and want to make a rocket. I used the mods pod and launched it, I later realised that it was out of power. I found this odd being it should have been generating power. I was wondering if I did something wrong or if I need to press something to get the pod to start generating power, thankyou

Stacking rockets on-top of one another.
BowWhalley replied to BowWhalley's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Thankyou VERY much , I found the Maneuver Planner to be a bit innacurate. I was able to dock to another rocket with Rendezvous AutoPilot and Docking Auto Pilot. Thankyou Oh So VERY much . I would change the prefix of this thread to 'answered' but I am not sure how, may someone please tell me how? EDIT: Here is an image if anyone wants to see what I was doing and how it turned out -
Stacking rockets on-top of one another.
BowWhalley replied to BowWhalley's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Thankyou very much, turns out the problem was something to do with 'root'. Also does anyone know of a mod that can assist with matching orbit of another probe/satelite/rocket/ect ?
