Rescued Kerbals' Parachutes
virtualizerocket replied to virtualizerocket's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
I will try to do so in the following missions. But it seems that a lot work have to be done before we reach the conclusion. -
Constant explosion out of no reason.

Rescued Kerbals' Parachutes
virtualizerocket posted a topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
To save money for hiring, I took a lot of rescue missions. Usually the kerbals are took back to their home planet via a cheep SSTO launch, however, sometimes I also try using tiny ships and space debris to do the job, like these: (The first image is a ship to save someone in high orbit, and the second one is a used second stage rocket with a few ticks of fuel left) However, I got an issue. While all the kerbalnauts launched by myself own parachutes, some of the rescued ones, in contrast, doesn't have the equipment. I don't like chutes installed on the rescue vehicles, for they are likely to be too cheap to be useful for recovering, and no science are contained within them. Besides, they increased the dead mess of the ship. Although the absence of chutes isn't really a critical point (They can survive impact ~75m/s with proper material explode beneath them), I still prefer a smoother landing. Some rescued ones definitely had something to slow themself, though So, 1. Does anyone know why some rescued kerbals don't have parachutes? 2. Any ideas for the future mission of this kind? -
How to use maneuver nodes?

It sounds quite likely to be a bug. However, do you have some screenshots of your finished contracts or buildings? Usually I don't find things wrong (in career mode) unless I skip something that the game suppose me to do. -
I don't find cheating really funny, actually. But sometimes I have to use magic to against the kraken any way....

I had some flying wings, but that was not really a good work perhaps. Landing was supported, but the screenshots were missing. B9ProcedualWings + FAR

64-bit hack/workaround? [Resolved, thanks!]
virtualizerocket replied to Ninjadude501Alt's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
Yes, there is. I am using this(https://i.reddit.com/r/KerbalSpaceProgram/comments/3laqnf/psa_ksp_64_bit_works_on_mac_os_x/) on my mac computer, and got some visual issues that it always were, but the chances of crashing while using a number of mods really decreased. Looking forward to KSP1.1 :XD -
Seems great. But there is really a number of A. E. R. O. B. R. E. A. K. S. by the way, what is the efficient way to complete a water-takeoff?

I have just launched a probe to Saturn. It will arrive in 12 years, so I think I could do some more things. Probe leaving home. A picture taken by the telescope camera. Another photo for the probe. The delta-v remained is about 2500, which is enough for the Saturn capture and further exploration. And I am using Aerozine50 and NTO for fuel, inside the B9 Procedural Wings (Sound like a atmosphere work).
