There are several screenshots from "pre-alpha" version on the promotion page.
From the looks of it, this visual improvement is significant even in its current state and surely will be better.

Optimistically speaking, this statement was made after all those cases happened.
That said, neither players nor developers could do much about that, so the option is to take what we would be given i guess.

Just because KSP2 has a steam page, and they say today that they will not be exclusive to Epic, doesn't mean anything. The same publisher for KSP2 already has a history of releasing other games on EGS exclusive in the past as well.
my dude, the official staff has repeatedly replied that ksp2 will launch at steam, just search the forum.

i don't think you can walk like that without strong artificial gravity, which is far far future in terms of kerbal technology we know.

hello i'm wondering if this mod is compatible with visual enhancement mods like SVE,AVP, etc
i.e if those mods that change visual aspects of the stock system can recognise their targeted planets in this new galaxy?

I forced DX11 on and it helps A LOT!!!
Now everything works smoothly with scatterer, eve, 5000+(?)parts, ect, even in the forest area!
Though DX11 introduced some other problems such as re-entry visual effects not visible from afar...

ToolbarControl updated and hangar extender doesn't show in the game by any means.
Guess i'll reinstall the older version.
BTW thx for maintaining this useful mod!

}so I was wondering whether there really was something incompatible with the 1.7.2 patch which would summon the Kraken or whether it was just displaying that message because it's a massive mod which will eat half your ships if the planet they're orbiting / landed on disappears.
This mod has a strict version check and it simply doesn't function without version matching.

I'd it's true that scatterer is applying the shading to scatters, it's applying it to every single vertex. Even those way off in the distance are being rendered as if they were directly next to you.
I'm on a GTX 1080 and running at 4k with no anti aliasing, and get lag with Scatterer and scatter objects in dense places. If LOD of objects decreased with distance, or if scatterer didn't shade objects far away / at all, performance would be a lot better.
Eventually i decreased "reflection texture resolution" to 1024 and the fps is finally above 24 at dense forest area (with scatterer eve ,etc). i turn anti aliasing on to x8 though. In plain area fps stays at 100+ .
And yes all the trees in a large circle around my vessel indeed has the same details lol.
BTW does anyone know why de faque does reflection texture affect trees?

Let's be grateful to the developers who make this great mod to the public FOR FREE
and let's not forget that they have no obligation of any sort to fullfill everyone's or anyone's want/need/preference.
They make decisions for this mod they see fit, simple as that.

@Kerenatus I've toyed with it off and on. Most recently right around the time 1.7.1 was released. I'm back on dx9. I didn't see any advantages, so it made the glitches that much more annoying. The biggest being the blue icons in the VAB. Even after I followed the troubleshooting tips for that I still had probably a dozen that didn't render correctly and the ones that did work were dim. I noticed the re-entry effects being mostly gone, but that was less of an problem to me than the VAB issues.

i think i find a problem.
the patch applied to "B9_Structure_HX1_S_H*" also (wrongly) applied to "B9_Structure_HX1_S_HS" which had its own patch applied, which caused duplication.

it would appear that my fps drowns near that "forest" launchpad, everywhere else is fine with eve scatterer and many other major mods installed all at highest settings.
could it be the stock trees(scatters) lol?

I sincerely don't understand why would the discount idea have been mentioned several times
The vast majority of games don't even give a discount to their expansions, not to mention a sequel.
It's a brand new game.
