[1.1] BDArmory v0.11.0.1 (+compatibility, fixes) - Apr 23
Fluburtur replied to BahamutoD's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
Dear Baha, does the AI will have something to stop the planes colliding into each other? It's funny but not very professional coming from skilled pilots Also during some brainstorm on the IRC I came up with this: when programming a plane AI you can give them a few pre-made order like "climb when chased" or "fly higher than opponent" this way the AI could be programmed to be evasive, attacking, fighter or bomber oriented to accomodate the qualities of each plane. I know this might be a lot of work but there are just suggestion, this mod is just insane and I love it. -
Top Gun AI - The Official Tournament Thread
Fluburtur replied to RocketTurtle's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
I could host a few battles, I think my computer is well up to the task and I myself make planes have battles very often. I also have a very good plane to enter so that would be a good thing. -
Help starting 1.1
Fluburtur replied to ejimsmith's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
You must be a time traveller because 1.1 haven't come out yet. -
The Tsar is already here and I think the weakest nuke is already more powerfull that the Fat Man. (the Air 2 is around 2Kt I think, so a bit less but compared to the size of the explosion a convetionnal bomb could have the power you would expect for something around 10Kt)

I have a very good crack of adobe premiere pro (and most of the adobe collection) but I don't think this counts as free ;.;

Hello! Here we share our knowledge about submarines, the transportation of the future! I'll start by posting my report log and a few simple advices: -simpler is (usually) better -spam the ore tanks and make sure they are full -yes, jet engines works underwater -wheesleys are good because of the insane efficiency and they provide way enough thrust for all your submarines needs. -aerodynamism (or in this case hydrodynamism) is the key, because drag is pretty much multiplied by 10 There, if you need advices or have some to give, feel free to do so!

How 'environmentally conscious' are you?
Fluburtur replied to mangekyou-sama's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I don't think firing NERVAs in atmosphere would be a bad thing, the radioactive material is not in direct contact with the gases so there should be no contamination but I still don't see why you would fire them in atmo exept on a spaceplane. And deorbiting stuff is good to keep lag low as well as space polution so I guess it's win/win. -
Part 8 of the report, no pics today because im tired and I don't want to bother with that right now. Today I travelled 260km since I had some fuel left from the last time, this brings the total distance to 1262km The current mission time is 2D,2H,10M. I had some problem with the sub randomly exploding with no reason while approaching with the plane, I think it's because it was over a shallow. I used a quicksave to get to the sub without it exploding, don't worry if I smash it into an underwater mountain I will replace it but the Kraken getting angry and killing it for no reason is not enough for me. It was also raining today, maybe it's that.

The Kerbin submarine circumnavigation challenge
Fluburtur replied to Fluburtur's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
Thank you, I entered you in the scoreboard (well not yet scoreboard since no one completed the challenge) as a lighter than water submarine, please correct me if it's not the case. Ladies and gentlekerbs, our first participant! -
Deep Diver Challenge: 1.0.5 Edition!
Fluburtur replied to Red Dwarf's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
Wow that's one nice mini-sub, I can't wait to people making submarines with bays to have mini submarines is them  -
Thanks, I think I will get an Arduino Uno starter kit since apparently there is no Mega starter kit. I just have to get a job, hopefully that will be done soon. EDIT: while looking at the first page I noticed zitronen uses the same joysticks as I will https://sites.google.com/site/zitronfiles/IMG_8486.JPG

I got two mini joysticks drom my RC plane radio, the plane itself flew only once and it crashed but that is not the question. Im kinda poor right now so it may take a while before I do anything but how do you connect two joystick to an arduino? They are both regular two-pot joystick with 3 wires on each potentiometer. Also how much stuff do you usualy need to have all the basics controls on a panel? (brakes, SAS, RCS, lights, gears, all the actions groups and the thing to toggle to docking mode and back. And of course the sticks) EDIT: I also have a bunch of servos from the plane, I think real life motorised pitch-yaw-roll indicators would be fun.
