  1. KSP: 1.1.2 Windows 10, 64x Problem: Lockup and crash in VAB/SPH. No consistency to when, or how. Problem caused by " Read from location 00000000 caused an access violation. " Mods installed: Reproduction steps: Load VAB or SPH, somewhere between 20 second and up to 10 minutes after, while building a craft and in no particular tab - the game lock up, windows will tell you that it isn't reponding, and it will crash. PC Specs: OS: Windows 10 64x RAM: 16GB Video Card: Nvidia 740M CPU: Intel Haswell, 2.4Gz Quad Log: error.log Stacktrace from output_log.txt

Hello, In a thread I made on the KSP Reddit, I was questioned about my use of Mechanical Jeb, usually abbreviated as MechJeb, and found that I had something interesting to add to the discussions surrounding the use of this mod that was previously unknown, or not well known. In short, MechJeb is the only reason that I am able to play KSP in any non-trivial capacity because KSP is mechanically very reliant on many, many clicks and button presses in a short time span, many of them are repetitive. Players with RSI, or Repetitive Stress Injury, or even players at risk of developing the condition would cause them selves either pain or irreparable chronic pain without this mod. How many times have you repeatedly tapped the w,a,s and/or d during a launch to slightly adjust the rotation of your craft? How many times have you made small, repeated adjustments to a maneuver node, back and forth until it is just how you want it? How many times have you adjusted your zoom, readjusted, zoomed back in, clicked on something else to focus on and then repeated the process? Maybe I only notice the frequency of these actions because I have the condition which is aggravated by them, and the type of personality that enjoys perfection and obsession, but I believe that there are others like me. I am not playing KSP enough for it to cause my RSI, but with it already aggravated from my work - ksp would be literally, medically unplayable for me without something to automate the creation of maneuver nodes, opening of solar panels, and other tasks that MechJeb does not solve, but other mods do. (The collection of science.) I'd love to hear what others have to say.
  3. Is this still in development? I use it every day, and I'd hate to see it disappear. Whoops: Apparently I can't read. I thought the last post was from 2013, not 2015. Doh. Anyway, wonderful tool! Can't wait for that polar orbit thing. Jool networks are *hell* without this.
  4. Some categories are obvious frivolous, but there are definitely differences between probes and satellites, spaceships (currently just known as ships), spaceplanes and their landed counterpart. Terrestrial Craft would be a good way to group Airplanes, Boats and Rovers into one catagory. (That shouldn't be an issue, I can't think of a situation where you have so many rovers and planes that it would be beneficial to your problem to separate them.) - - - Updated - - - To be honest, most of what I suggested is.... well, just to throw mud. Planes and Satellites is what is boils down to.

  6. What about planes, boats, Stations (They aren't "space craft"), bases?
  7. Is it a lander? Is it a ship? Is it a space station? No, its a plane! Planes, Rigs, Boats, Submarines, Airships, Jeb's Fail Experiments, FTL Craft, Power Stations, Power Beamers, Communications Satellites, Satellites in general. What do all of these have in common? None of them have a catagory that makes much sense. Planes aren't Ships, Satellites aren't probes and neither is an asteroid mining rig.
