  1. HyperEdit has some issues: some parts are missing (broken?) when you set a ship/probe from launch pad to orbit. I'm using KSP 1.0.5 (1028) and HyperEdit 1.4.2 from Sandbox mode for doing probes tests before "real" launch in career mode.
  2. Maybe already suggested (search function in forum have actually many issues), about manned spacecraft, assuming it's possible to maintain SAS (only stability function, if available and enabled) during EVAs, of course as long as a Kerbal pilot is staying in command pod (doesn't applicable for Mk1 like pods, for example). EVAs are really a pain, especially while the ship is rotating. IRL I've never seen, in NASA documentaries, the (real) Space Shuttle to rotate during astronaut EVAs (SSO seems stable).
  3. Thanks about this tip blu3wolf! I'll try this ASAP. EDIT: doesn't work (don't have button to enable antennas when I do right click). Don't matter, I've destroyed these probes from tracking station!
  4. Discovering RemoteTech this evening: really I love this awesome mod, add a ton of realism about probes communications. I'm a douche () because I've installed RemoteTech after I've previously launched two survey probes (career mode). Both probe have Communotron 88-88 antenna + MechJeb AR202 module. One is orbiting Kerbin (polar @ 150x150 km) mainly for ore scanning (SCANsat Altimetry Sensor + M4435 Narrow-Band Scanner), the second - less important - orbiting Mun on specific orbit (required to complete an old contract). Houston we've a problem! now I can't control both (outdated) probes!!! have permanent "No connection" message - can't acquire signal... In fact, it's normal (I suppose) because these probes don't have required antennas (such Reflectron DP-10 or equivalent) I precise all are unlocked in R&D tree. Okay, one possible (exciting) challenge is to update the probe(s) in space (using KIS & KAS addons also), to add required antennas, after orbital rendezvous, EVA by engineer... but in career mode, lauching spacecraft is expensive, unfortunately! 5. Hello all kerbonauts! I'm Dominique, 52 yrs old french guy, living at Chartres, 100 km west of Paris, this city is known about its wonderful cathedral! I've bought Kerbal Space Program during september 2013 (09/11, really a fateful date), from KSP Store (less expensive, $US 23.00). I've used it a few bit, but more intensive play since November 11, 2013 (v1.0.5.1028) playing every afternoon (I've a lot of time to waste because I'm unemployed), after a new/fresh install on my PC. I'm newbie here (I've joined this forum yesterday). Other favorite games are Flight Simulator X, pinball simulations (Future Pinball, The Pinball Arcade) and infiltration games (Splinter Cell series). Favorite addons for KSP are MechJeb2, KER, Kerbal Alarm Clock and, for docking, DPAI. No problem with these addons. I'll plan to try KIS, seems to be an interessing addon too! I've started a career mode (normal difficulty) - in parallel with sandox (for launcher validations), for now, I've (only) reached Duna orbit and Ike landing... but wanting more science points to unlock ion technology. Hope we can exchange ideas, help or something here! Greetings from France. Dominique
