  1. Hmm, I think the physics file is something that ModuleManager makes after it's installed, not sure. Delete 2.6.13 and replace it with 2.6.18, don't mess with the physics or configscache files. I agree, I stopped using KW in 1.0.5, it caused a lot of problems I didn't want to mess with to fix. As long as you don't have a really cool craft you built using KW, you may consider some replacement like AIES or HGR. Of course, if the community fixes work (I haven't tried them yet) you can ignore the last sentence. But yeah, update ModuleManager and see what gives. If it doesn't work, you can try going to the ModuleManager forum page, there might be more qualified people there.
  2. @Table, I think this applies to you as well. Some mods bundle ModuleManager, so check and see since it looks like there is overlapping text in your screenshot. Delete the other ModuleManagers and download 2.6.18.
  3. Oh ok. Sorry about that, I didn't have it installed.
  4. Great mod, and congrats on the feature! Do you plan to add support for other planet packs like OPM?
  5. So I have been using my KSP save for a while, but today it suddenly stopped loading at Squad/parts/resources/surveyscanner/surveyscanner/surveyscanner. Now I looked in my files and there is no Squad/parts/resources/surveyscanner/surveyscanner/surveyscanner. It stops at 2 surveyscanners, since the first one is a folder and the last one is a cfg file. I have a picture here: I'm not sure what it is, but I haven't added any mods recently and/or updated steam or KSP. I don't use CKAN either, so I'm not sure what has gone wrong. If it's another bug, does anyone know how to contact a dev properly about this? Thanks!
  6. Just one problem. The clip at the end shows an S-IVB stage jettisoning with 3 ulage rockets and then switches to and Audi logo. In real life, the Saturn V only flew its S-IVB With 2 ulage rockets, so the film at the end is in fact from a Saturn 1B, not a Saturn V. Just pointing it out since I'm a nerd about these things.
  7. IIRC the Ares V could lift 188 tonnes to LEO, so it's close enough. Unfortunately the constellation project was downscaled to the SLS program.
  8. I waste all the money on ammo, then I waste the ammo. I give the next poster 1 bitcoin [BTC]
  9. No offset limits. [I'm aware there is a mod for this] Also, welcome @SpatulaCity!
  10. Congrats! Pretty nifty little modlet, since I have Kopernicus anyway I gave it a go. Not disappointed at all! Are you planning to add other science experiments? Can't think of any off the top of my head but other mods have some pretty cool ones and frankly, I like your descriptions.
  11. WOW! Looks great +1! How many parts are in that thing?
  12. Pretty much, but not quite. Here's a picture: You see those two little blue buttons? They let you move the node forward one orbit, or back one orbit if possible. I mean to plan the burn 1 orbit ahead, execute part of it oon the same orbit [ie: one orbit before the node] , and then do the rest at the next pass. with this, even the mun will not move a lot off where you planned, only the lag time from the longer orbit before the final execution. Then, a course correction and inclination change at the AN or DN, or in the mun's case, a course correction as soon as you can do it. Course corrections are more efficient the further you are, but inclination changes only hit right on the mark at AN/DN. In minmus' case, its just more convenient to do the course correction along with the inc change unless you feel like messing with multiple nodes to plot your course. P.S. The picture is only to show the blue buttons under the node. It doesnt show how to execute the burn or anything!!! Thought the mun encounter would confuse people XD. . Now if you'll excuse me, I need to get back to SB50! Typing this during a commercial break
  13. What do auditioning for an acting role and playing sports have in common? Did you hear about the sensitive burglar?
  14. If the alt-f12 FPS takes up too much space, and you run KSP on steam, there is a setting in steam to let you see FPS in any corner you like of the game. It matches up nicely with the debug menu, so you can pick the one that is most visually appealing to you.
  15. First of all, welcome to the forums! I had the same question too, but right now I'm kinda into some other stuff, namely getting to orbit from Eve. Anyway, Lets say I am in your situation, namely LKO. I want to burn out to Minmus. First, make a maneuver, and use the little icon that shows up to set it to the next orbit. Then, get it to go out to Minmus' altitude, don't bother with the plane change. On the first pass burn about half of the deltaV, then when you get to the next orbit around, finish it up. You should have a close approach marker. As you head out, there will be an AN or DN marker, so make a trim maneuver there.you can adjust your inclination here to save deltaV and burn time, and make any other adjustment as necessary. This 'trim manuver' should be only 75-125 m/s to save burn time, and hopefully it will be a lot more accurate as well. Hope this helps!
  16. Yup, only seven people who landed on the moon are still alive IIRC. It's pretty sad that nobody will be able to say "I walked on the moon" for at least 10-15 more years, and even that is being overly optimistic.
  17. http://www.nasa.gov/feature/apollo-astronaut-edgar-mitchell-dies-at-age-85 Quite sad. How do you guys feel about this? He passed away on the 45th anniversary of his lunar landing.
  18. Pretty sure that NovaPunch has gimballed SRB's. Hold on, I'll find a link... EDIT: It says 1.0.2, but I find it works fine with 1.0.5, I personally only installed the engines. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/3871-102-novapunch-209-may-6th-10-compatibility-update/&page=1
