  1. Hmm, yes when I connect through a VPN terminated in the USA it works. That's odd, that's the first case I've had of one part of the Internet being unreachable like that. Been meaning to ask, with a name like Taniwha are you from New Zealand or have links here? I'm in Wellington. Maybe you're just too far away ;-) (Confirmed I am able to use the download link from first post and it works - the 5.3.2 release on GitHub seems to be different - and not working).
  2. Hi, I've been trying to download the latest release from http://taniwha.org/~bill/Extraplanetary_Launchpads_v5.3.2.zip but I just keep getting connection time out errors. I tried downloading it from GitHub but I don't think it's working properly. I can't see the Rocket Parts factory.
  3. I just wanted to say I got v0.9 working on a fresh install with a bunch of Mods installed, (but no EPL and no UKS mods) and it worked successfully. Going to to give it a proper go over the weekend. Couple of suggestions: you might want to add a couple of extra instructions to the lead post about how to use IFS to switch the Ore tanks into Metal and Rocket Part tanks. That threw me for a little bit until I figured things out. I put the more detailed set of instructions here under spoiler in case people wanted to figure it out for themselves. Looks great!
  4. You can change the "Kontainer" in the VAB to allow "Specialized Parts" and fill it there, but I don't know how to create Specialized parts off-Kerbin yet (MKS Lite 0.2.1.0, EPL 5.2.94). I haven't tried building anything to 100% yet this time around though...
  5. Yup - you're right about CKAN. I installed all of the mods manually and I'm now able to build stuff with EPL. Thanks :-) ...but I now I think there might be various things wrong with the AgModule and HabModule. I just wasn't able to get things producing a surplus of supplies so I dug down into the MKSL_AgModule.cfg and MKSL_HabModule.cfg files. The action "Start Life Support" on both of the modules doesn't have any output resource Neither module seems to implement the support chain indicated on the MKS Lite wiki (https://github.com/BobPalmer/MKS-LITE/wiki/Base-Building-Parts) I had to increase the ratios for both the output of Fertilizer and also Supplies to get a reasonable level output. I can see stuff in the change logs about "Organics" being deprecated but it feels like this change hasn't yet rippled through everything yet.
  6. Yes Screwdriver/Drill works instead of wrench. I'm sure I tried that :-( Also: because I got all of the latest builds (CKAN) I'm also having the same problem "Kershu5" is having with Extraplanetry Launchpads, I see Material Kits instead of Rocket Parts and can't seem to build anything. {MKS Lite 2.1.0 and EPL 5.2.94}
  7. I can't get many of the Kolonization parts (Smelt-o-matic, Power Pack, Regolith Sifter) to attach to either the Colony Hub or the Anchor Hub "in-game". I can get them to attach in the VAB but not with a Kerbal in the field. I can attach Flex-o-Tubes and Kolony Tubes in the field but I can't take the other things like {Smelt-o-matic, Power Pack, Regolith Sifter} out of Inventory and attach them with a Kerbal in-game. I've read through the thread about things like using "R" to change node, but that doesn't seem to help. Steps to Replicate 1. Load up a Command Pod and Kolony Hub with various parts and Wrench 2. Launch to launchpad 3. Exit the vehicle with Bill Kerman (with Wrench equipped) 4. Once outside open Kolony Hub Inventory and grab part 5. Attempt to attach "press H + left click" Expected Behaviour: Part attaches Actual Behaviour: Error message; "This node cannot be used for surface attach" Also tried: Pressing "R" Attaching to other things like Girder Segment, or a Kontainer Changing the orientation to something that looks like it should attach I got the impression from the wiki and the title graphics for this mod at the start of this forum topic that I should be able to assemble something like example base in the field from unpacking things out of Inventory. But don't seem to be able to do this.
