Those items aren't plentiful very early,
True, but it seems like in the screenshot that it is sandbox or a developed career/science mode, and as for them not being plentiful, the 1.25 m faring is unlocked relatively quickly in the tech tree if playing career or science. A 1.25 m faring can easily be worked to conceal fuel tanks.

I don't think it is practical for a mass exodus from the solar system without a faster than light method of propulsion. Hopefully by the time we figure out how to build that, or can 100% guarantee it is impossible, we will hopefully have fixed the Earth by then. If we do not clean up our act by then, there will probably not be any more humans around to build an FTL drive.
With near light speed, you could reach other planets, if you intend to never come home. If this is truly and evacuation, then that might be possible, but not practical. But hopefully this will not be a problem in our lifetime...

I have honestly never had a problem with the runway being too short. IF any space plane of mine cannot take off before the end of the runway, that probably means it does not have enough lift anyway. Occasionally, I will have a plane that will get to the end of the runway, and then will jump off the small drop-off at the end, and then be fine. Mods such as Kerbin Side add longer runways as well.

Tis the season!
To happy and mostly safe landings, and many more.

And a lot of vernors to control them.
However, I do wish that there were more were wallpapers. Maybe three of them and only four papercraft?

Eughh, there are so many!
- Sound in space
- Giant spacecraft-where do you find enough aluminum for a 20 km battleship? Not to mention the Ark from Halo
- Explosions in space
- Vaporizing enemies
- Aliens looking like humans with a bumpy forehead, and talking English
- People hacking "impenetrable" computers in 30 seconds
- People surviving from being sucked into space by hanging on to something
- Evading ridiculous amounts of gunfire. Probability would dictate you would get hit even if the enemy's "trained attack squad" was firing blind.
- Starships leaning into a curve during a turn as if there was gravity pulling them "down"
- Temporal paradoxes. So convenient when they just resolve themselves...

I use a quantum-based recovery device to target every location you could take your cookie to.

You could always try flying upside-down!

Nice. I made a regular TIE fighter a few days ago.
However, it most certainly cannot fly at all. But your design probably can be tweaked to sustain an atmospheric flight. How far have you gotten in atmospheric flight?

It might help with my constant need to see Kerbals die in the most pointless and painful ways possible.
Does this not look painful enough?

Did someone order theirs extra, extra crispy?

Then the empire needs a new grand earmuff.
How should one go about chopping their piano with a stuffed bear?

Unfortunately, your "boulder" contained some ore in it, and I was compelled to blow it up to extract it.

9/10 someone could mistake your avatar for the Curiosity rover's twitter account.
(Dead serious, Curiosity has a twitter account. See the December 2012 issue of Astronomy Magazine)
Yeah, but it's not what I was thinking when someone said "science for the masses"...

Your images are not working. Neither is this guy...

When you dock the two spacecraft, the mission clock will switch to one spacecraft. However, once the two spacecraft are undocked, the original MET clock for both spacecraft will be restored to its original state.

I just use pen and paper if I really need to know something. I take it that is a little out of date here...

I typically play science mode, but in my single career game, I don't really have a single ship I just fly over and over to earn funds. Flying spaceplanes does not truly get many funds, but I do just send my kerbals to the mun and then minmus to help level up, and then get funds, so I guess it's pretty simmilar to what you're doing, but I like using minimalistic rockets with two kerbals as opposed to a five or twenty kerbal craft.

This thread should probably be moved to the "Gameplay Questions and Tutorials" section, as it is about the Kerbal solar system and not our own.
