The service bays. I've crunched so many parts that otherwise would've been stuck outside the ship and even probably effect the drag of the ship into it. It helps the fact that KSP allows clipping of many parts into one. I've lost count of how many science modules and batteries I've squeezed into just milk the science out of Kerbal!

There was no update at the times you've mentioned about (from all I know). No bugfix, no major one. If you don't do a gravity turn and instead go directly up, there is an extremely huge chance that even a small change in your flying style can negatively effect your fuel usage. Personal Note: Being extremely cost efficient can cause even small mistakes to drain all your fuel. I know since I had the same problems during the days I didn't know how to gravity turn.

Please help with the Infernal Robotics
Parpaza replied to Tauron5's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
Use this: https://github.com/MagicSmokeIndustries/InfernalRobotics/releases This should solve your problem. Download the latest pre-release, then insert the parts for IR in. They seem to be working to make it compatible with 1.2. Hope I helped. Detailed Explanation: -

I remember a Texture Replacer texture pack named 'Interstellar' (that also required EVE to function) or something like that. It managed to change the sun-flare to white. It should still be in the curse forums, But I think Streetwind's method of turning everything off and using sun-flares is a better option. So +1 to that.

I still do use drogue chutes, however not in vast quantities like before. Before I would put 3-4 drogue chutes on probes meant to land on Kerbin. My current tourism craft has 2 drogue chutes and 3 main parachutes (due to the heavyweight) which is a big improvement from my old days where I would use lots of drogue chutes to slow down even lightweight craft. Note: The 1.0 update coupled with some other updates made me to stop using too many drogue chutes using real-chute which allowed me to learn how to properly aero-brake to the ground.

Nope, never used it. And I probably never will.

I too, think is a good idea. The sound design really isn't that good? Maybe even some muffling/silence for sounds in space?

"Treating Kessler Syndrome..." That one gave me a good laugh. The time I first saw it I only had recently known what the heck Kessler Syndrome was.

Spending about 5 hours for planning and flying a mission to the mun, only to remember that I forgot the parachutes on the way back...

Yeah! Thank the devs for that! I remember backing up my save game furiously manually before .

Heard about it like when I was browsing lists and stuffs for good 'space games'. And that was like about 1-2 years ago? Can't really remember. Either way, I remember seeing early 0.8.0 footage of KSP and thinking, 'Wow! That's really a nice game,' and then all of sudden reading the description of an article that described the game as hardcore, and being (very sadly) put-off for a few years. Then, a few years(?) later I saw it again, this time in the 0.24.0 stage. Thinking 'huh, I'm bored, let's try something new,' I bought the game, and... The rest is history.

The pin-able menus in the 1.0 update and the new smooth fonts in 1.2.x. The UI feels extremely more bearable on my 1920x1080 res now. Before it was a kind of a pain in the eye.

I used to use a lot of reaction wheels and go overboard on fitting them onto solid boosters, instead of using fins for atmospheric control (yeah I was that freaking dumb ). Then I'd complain that the game was broken and it was too hard to grind science etc... Nowadays I just stick fins and one nice reaction wheel at the top. Also, I don't use too many drogue chutes anymore. Before I would go crazy with real-chute and install hundreds of them. Now I just set an extremely long aero-brake and let it land gracefully.

Quite simple. I give them a letter or small phrase that describes the vessel series. Milestone Vessels (i.e Exploration Vessels) - A-1, A-2, A-3 etc... Tourism Vessels - V-1, V-2, V-3, V-4 etc... Satellites - RadarSat I, ComSat I, ScanSat II etc... And basically yeah, a small simple phrase or letter. Then using a vessel manager I tag them with the appropriate series. This makes it really easy sort vessels and find them.

@taniwha Hmm, I'll check out the Kerbal Stats mod. Either way, once again thanks for the help. And no, sadly I don't yet have the Blue Workshop. Still trying to figure out a way to carry one and install it into the station without wrecking it's structure.

Thanks for the quick reply both of you! The exact reason why I posted this however was because I read the manual and wasn't able to figure out why this was exactly happening. I'll check out the manual and (hopefully) give some feedback. Thanks for your replies, both of you! Well, looks like I'll have to do a bloody full crew rotation now though . Or else that $ 50,000 Orbital Dry Dock just went to waste...

Quick question, is a negative value possible to appear or is this a bug? This seems to keep appearing if I specifically leave Bill alone without an other engineers. If this is a bug, I'll try to post my latest KSP.log. (This kept occurring for every command module when I had the alternate resource config' mod)
