That's close to me, as I installed the game at .25, but by the time the game finished installing I needed to update the game to .90 (so much for high speed dialup)

[1.2.2] Centauri Dreams - Explore Alpha Centauri
bengee777 replied to hikoriyami's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Here's a cool idea for a name, Centaurian space program. -
Here's how I would do it. First I'd get 4 [He] weather balloons (at an army surplus store, maybey) then make a high altitude plywood launch platform, therefore saving some DeltaV. The actual rocket, well I'd make liquid [H2] by making a HHO generator, and then cooling it to liquid via liquid nitrogen (also make LOX this way). It'd have a launch TWR of 1.1 and would propel itself to LEO. The payload would be a probe powered by EM Drives (RCS is EM drive) (you should google EM drives) a few solar panels from hardware store. Theoretically It could go to Mars as it's fuel source is the sun. By the way EM drives are made of copper, here's a graphic.

So I found out what a .rar file is, did all the stuff, and the mod still didn't work , as in everything worked, except the mod's planets/stars (the mod's stuff didn't load). the only thing that did load was the stock kerbol system.

Where are my Canadian brethren and how do you use KSP
bengee777 replied to DoctorDavinci's topic in The Lounge
Dear Mr. DctorDavinci, I might very well find myself to be one of you brethern by 2017. I'm from Erie PA, so I'll have some swimming to do to evade trump. As for ksp, I use it to have a grand ol' time with my friends on the weekends. I use my modded instals to test a in game data comepression system that SHOULD reduce RAM usage by 75% to 80%. So something that would normaly use 4G of RAM only uses 1G to .75G of RAM See you in the Great White North, well soon maybey, bengee777 -
Here, almost as it's a bit low res on my monitor. Does anyone know where I can find a high res 1366x768 version? If so please send it to me at (email removed)

Do the invisible mountains on Pol still exist?
bengee777 replied to SmashingKirby148's topic in KSP1 Discussion
You see, back in my day (15th of June 2016), invisible mountains, kraken summonings, and spontaneous explosions were commonplace, especialy with 150 mods loaded. -
The one and only thing that could posibly make this better is an I-MAX theater. That's all, nothing more needs to be said.

bengee777 replied to Sophia's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
Thanks for letting me know this stuff as i didn't realize @Denko666 had allready re-uploaded this mod, I will be taking my version down and I apolagise for any confusion and Inconvinences I caused. Also I'm a total modding noob and have no clue about licensing. If you ( @Deimos Rast ) happen to have some advice about licensing you can contact me at: [email protected] have a great day everyone, bengee777 -
Shadow zone would be proud, but not finished, as his Ozymandias (I think I spelled that right) series almost did this. He didn't fly through the planet's atmosphere, and it took him close to 300 years. So good luck to anyone who does this, as the have more brains and patience than I. here's a link to Ozymandias:https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLLGqKphkhc2D3VG9NN6inD5xEeQ1itMyN

Thank you so much for this briliant game you made, it's sad to see you go. To say it's briliant is an understatement, as this has enspired me an two of my cousins to do great things. My older cousin got a carrer at NASA, and my younger cousin is taking flight school. As for me, this has teeched me that, even at the worst of times, you should never give up, and always reach for the stars. Thanks so much, this game has changed my life, Ben

What is your most usefull mod?
bengee777 replied to Jeb-head-mug kerman's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
While I've never used Kerbal Enginier or MechJeb (seriously I've never used either) I love planet packs (thank god I have a decent PC) as well as any sci-fi mod, especialy any one with warp-drives. I do really like the Farscape mod (link Below) (http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/121858-farscape-module-104/) -

Fully Reusable Career Challenge
bengee777 replied to Kergarin's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
Question: didn't Scott manley already do something like this? But I guess this is ok because this is several versions later. -
My user name(s) is/are simple, my first name, (ben) and my last name (green). 7 is my favorite number. The (gee) part was because I once put an absurd amount of monoprop engines (these for some reason have no mass) on a tiny command pod, turn on infinite fuel and let the lag start. As a result I accelerated at OVER 9000! gees and crashed the game.
