  1. Ah, that works. How many of the flags have you used in your time playing?
  2. Simple names are just easy to remember for me. I've used more than those two, but those two were the only ones I could name off the top of my head at the time. Granted, I have played this game a fair bit, but I'm no where near some of these players with thousands of hours under their belts.
  3. I keep mine simple. I'm using Blorbs in my current career, and have used things like Trippy in the past.
  4. Probably would require a spaceplane with a Klaw in a cargo bay, but I'd say its possible.
  5. Could add some realism to progression by including a piston engine analog propeller that consumes Liquid Fuel and Intake Air, as well as electric props.
  6. Would be a perfect way to incorporate those stats into the gane as well, as opposed to them being simply visual and for the LOLz.
  7. I'm only recently dabbling in mods, but so far I've enjoyed information mods like KER and RCSBuildAid. Started tinkering with Contract Configurator for kicks, may try my custom contracts out in another save when I feel I'm finished with my current save.
  8. As long as it's not to resource intensive, it should not be too difficult to spawn just one command pod, one fuel tank, and one engine for a craft. Would make for some interesting combinations too; I can already see an Mk1 cockpit attached to a FL-T400 and a Terrier.
  9. I must applaud you for the detail you have put into that base. It's purpose and history have inspired me to make something similar in my career. I hope it does the same for the OP as well.

  11. For those who have had success with lander legs in 1.1.3, I would like some tips. How much mass can each leg handle? Approximate spring/damper settings for lower gravity bodies (such as Mun/Minmus)? How can I mitigate the known sliding issues?
  12. Declined my first contracts. Gene's reaction was an adorable "Awwww..." Made up for it by taking a contract to plant a flag on Minmus, somewhere I haven't been yet on this career.
  13. Downloaded KER last night because I got tired of doing dV by hand, and spreadsheets are slightly beyond my abilities and patience. I find all the tools useful, but only use a few in flight. So far it's my only mod as I like the stock game as it is.
  14. Quick revert to service bays, I've used them as shielding for solar panels in my current career. An OKTO with symmetry-2 panels inside the bay with the panels facing out of the doors provides flight controls and rechargeability. Some of the small radial mount batteries mounted inside provides power storage with the same protection. Once I get better probe cores I can fit a .625m reaction wheel inside for a complete package.
  15. It honestly surprises me no one had mentioned stock propellers yet. Would make atmospheric flight a lot more fun, at least for me.
