"Still checking in everyday to see the progression. I like the poll you introduced, let's you get a good grip on what us plebeians crave for our amusement in this space-Colloseum ;)" Yeah, I keep coming back because I really want an up to date soyuz spacecraft -

hey, is this soviet rocket pack still going? -
A little while ago (0.11.1 I think) there was an N1 Rocket mod, but since then it has all but disappeared , I have been recreating the Russian rocket like the Soyuz using the Nova-punch pack but the N1 rocket just doesn't work with this pack, is there still a download link for this mod or are there any plans to resurrect this mod?

It's fun to see how close you can orbit a moon and see the ground whooshing past below you, then again sometimes I smash into an unexpected hill
-
Unless you were thrusting at %100 your rockets probably wont work in .17, but, there are other factors that I am not aware of and fuel does seem to drain slightly more quickly than usual
-
well for one thing, your not using the engines made for the rocket, but also the fuel bug has been fixed so that is also an issue
-
I'm sure they wont mind when I say "there was an oil spill" XD

Ejector seats and tiny parachutes
tk5800thesecond replied to tk5800thesecond's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I saw a video on the MOOSE by scott manly looks cool, also with the amount of mods I have already I may just give the airplane parts what am I say, MODS AHOY! -
Most planes and jets (of the fighter and experimental design) have an ejector seat, this would mean instead of attaching a heavy decoupler and parachutes all we would have to do would be to hit..... P and boom! blasted out to safety also, after ejecting the option of a parachute would be nice, if your main chute on the capsule fails your kerbal can jump out below 10000 meters and [arachute down (much like yuri gagarin on his first space flight) is there a mod and or plugin for this or will it be implemented later on?

XD thanks for crunching the numbers, now I see how impossible it would be........... or is it possible? time for a long term minmus moon base
-
Ok, I understand minmus is set in it orbit seeing how its a moon object in the unity engine (I think its unity) But, hypothetically, seeing how there is such little gravity around minmus (With how little thrust you need to land on it) would it be possible to land giant rockets on minmus and fire them pro grade thus increasing the apoapsis? hmmm..... can you theoretical change the orbit of minmus with a Saturn v sized rocket strapped to it (there we go, i think that makes more sense)

This is My version of the Soyuz rocket and the Soyuz capsule I used the novapunch pack the the Soyuz rocket and kept it as close to the actual soyuz as possible, I used the radial boosters the add stability and to also drain the out tanks more quickly, after they seperate the inner 2 tanks and adapters are just enough to get the craft into a 75k circular orbit. The capsule itself is made with the stock 1 man capsule, I used a decoupler (from the other Soyuz mod XD) to attach to the stock tank, the stock tank is used to take the craft from a 75k orbit to a 400k orbit and back again, on the tank are 2 huge solar panels and 4 RCS tanks (from the Kosmos pack) The craft is very capable of making multiple trips between 75k and 400k orbits (yet to test whether or not it can do a 1,000,000m orbit....I doubt it though) So, what do you guys think? did I keep in style of the original Soyuz? and should I make changes or add different aesthetics? (radar dish? antenna?) (Also, how do I get the photos to appear in the post and not as attachments, I'm still getting used to the new forum)

well, I think the way squad is distributing KSP so far has been enough, steam ads restrictions in the area of addons, mods and other problems, although it would get it the attention it needs on launch day

A few of my designs worked and could go into space and across the ocean, but now all they do is drag across the tarmac and crash into the ocean, is this a bug or is it just my designs
