  1. I get that, but answer this. Why were these bugs not found in testing?, were they and they just shipped it anyway?, or was the product just not tested?, there are UI issues that present themselves within a few hours of play, so it's not like it would have taken extensive testing. Consoles now have the option of having games in early access, if FTE wanted some extended testing, and get some money, then they should have gone down that route, rather than just throwing this mess into the wild.
  2. I don't think they've forgotten, they just don't care, it's Flying Tigers problem to sort the console version out, so Squad can concentrate on the PC version. The game on consoles is a mess, in it's current state it should have been an early access release, not a full £32 release.
  3. I emplore anyone who is unhappy with the XBO version to contact xbox support, either by email or live chat, and tell them, the more people that complain, the better.
  4. So no news since 4th August about the issues? 2 months is ridiculous, I am going to put in a refund request.
  5. Sometimes my maneuver nodes get stuck when I am adjusting them, this renders pretty much every button on the UI inoperable and I can't do anything to the node, it won't even select the node. Only way to fix it is exit the game from the dashboard and restart it, very frustrating.
  6. One thing to note about EVA movement is that the D pad is used to orient the Kerbal.
  7. Yes, I was struggling to get the Kerbal lined up exactly with the ladder, the controls are a little.........finicky.....
  8. Overscan is such a ballache, why do manufacturers insist on having it on by default.
  9. Thanks for the reply, I'll try and get a DVR of the stuck rollover menus. One thing I will say about the EVA issue, I found that if I manually turn the RCS off before grabbing the ladder it doesn't fire me off into space.

There appears to be a number of issues here. 1) When doing an orbital EVA, I get the prompt to "GRAB", but when I hit grab it shoots my kerbal off into space & turns off the RCS. 2) I don't know if it's related to the about bug, but once I managed to get back into the ship (after a long time struggling with the controls and shooting off into space and getting back to the ship) the UI freezes, and all the rollover shootout menus (game help etc) get stuck in their rolled over position. 3) Again, not sure if they are related, but after the UI has frozen, all my staging has been removed, I can reset up the staging again, but after doing so, even when I press the button, the decoupler won't uncouple, I have to manually do it by selecting it in the game window.
  11. Because I'd imagine the game was sent for certification when they were still on 1.1.0 on the PC version.
  12. Right, I made a very simple bush plane tail dragger with straight wings, and it was fine. There seems to be an issue with the centre of aerodynamic lift on swept wings (straight ones seem fine) can anyone with the latest PC version show the centre of aero on a very simple, plain, fuselage with just the swept wings in place?
  13. Console owners aren't used to games in this state, I am quite forgiving of games with a vertical learning curve, and I am struggling to get my head around it, I dread to think how it has been received by some of the less forgiving console owners.
  14. You do realise that once you've downloaded it on your machine, you can use your Aus account to play the game, earn achievements etc? It performs exactly the same as it does if you'd have brought if from your locale marketplace.
  15. LOL!, that's one way of doing it I guess!!!, I considered trying to launch a plane on the launchpad like a rocket, but didn't get round to it.
  16. No, Xbox one, I can almost do it, but there seems to be something up with the collision detection on the runway. I'll have to have a fiddle with the settings and see if I can iron the issue out.
  17. Anyone managed to get space planes working?, they either just explode immediately on loading, just sit there bouncing up and down until they explode, or manage a take off, start bouncing on the gear and explode. I've tried numerous designs that work on the PC version.
  18. I concur, this plane doesn't work either. It does seem to be an issue with the gear, even with fixed gear it either just jumps up and down on the runway until the plane is destroyed, or you manage to get a take off roll going and the plane just starts bouncing all over the place on the gear and rips the wings off.
  19. Just wanted to add, I am also on the XBO version, and I am building planes, and they just immediately explode on the runway too.
  20. Despite my maneuver mode working previously, it's now gone completely, no amount of ship switching and saving will bring it back. I also notice the "T- **s" tooltip from the apsis marker has also disappeared.

The whole map view is broken on consoles, you can't select waypoints, controls freeze, the maneuver mode sometimes doesn't work, the camera is difficult to orientate, the writing on the periapsis and apsis are tiny, despite scaling the UI, the controls are overly sensative and the slow down control doesn't always work in map view.
  22. I have a similar issue where the planets continually reload all the textures up to a point when they all just disappear and end up as black spheres.
  23. Why not just buy it from the UK or US Xbox (or PS4) store?, it's all region free, you just need to setup an account and buy prepaid giftcards.
  24. And there-in lays the rub, Squad didn't do the port, Flying Tiger Entertainment did.
