  1. I think you're right. It was a mod. But I deleted ckan and all of its files. Now I get the game 99% loaded and it stops and freezes. It won't go to the main title screen. Thanks!
  2. Hi there, It's been a LONG time since I have played KPS, so much so that when I tried to boot it up recently, it started loading the game (with the loading screen pictures and funny quotes and stuff) but said I was running an unsupported version, and that I should download the latest update (0.9.99.2788). It even gave me a link to click on to do so. Problem is, when I click on it, I get a screen that says "The page you requested does not exist." This is weird to me on two accounts. First, because it's a link that was generated by the game itself, not a forum or tech support person or something. And more importantly, Steam is designed specifically to keep my games up to date at all times, as it reminds me every single time I open it. Any ideas? I am playing this on a newer computer right now than when I previously played it. On that older one I had mods, but this one I do not, and I also uninstalled my making history expansion so it should just be vanilla right now. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I tried verifying the cache. What am I missing? Thanks! Brad
  3. The waypoint manager mod is not coming up on what I believe is the main mod website (https://mods.curse.com/ksp-mods/kerbal). Where should I be looking? Thanks,
  4. Ok, so you're saying I should either launch low into the air and do my best to maneuver my way to each biome using the map, or just get out of my pod and walk to each area? Maybe not that last bit. Seems a bit slow. You can't move your launch pad can you? Thanks,
  5. How do I set a target point on my nav ball? It says I need to do an experiment in a certain area, but how do I aim for that place? Thanks!
  6. Thanks all! These are some great ideas. I'm going to try them!
  7. Greetings! So excited to finally grab this game. I was really trying to hold out for the Wii-U version, but I just couldn't wait any longer. Anyway, I'm wondering about the best approach here. I decided to jump into science mode since it seems more paced out without too many other variables to worry about, but I'm finding that I wish I had the contracts that the career mode offers... I know this is supposed to be a challenge, but I find that much more digestible if I have small specific goals that build on each other. Is there any way to compromise on this in-game? Secondly, I'm looking at these training modules, but judging by the names of them, they look to just give away all the answers. I mean, I see stuff about how to go into orbit, getting to the Mun, etc. Shouldn't this be more about teaching the mechanics and principles of flight and design rather than just building it for you? Thanks!
