  1. I noticed that Parts Heat Resistance are somewhat strange. I had a lander that consisted of the 2-Person Stock Capsule, the Stock Heatshield of Same Diameter with 560 Units of Ablator material, two AIRBRAKES and a few minor parts that shouldnt effect weight or drag significantly. My reentry orbit was AP about 150.000 and PE about 45.000. Heat shield did not have enough Ablator and the Vessel burnt up. In a second attempt, i tried to use the last stage (one tank and one engine) as an initial heat shield and found that, while the engines blew up, the empty tank was swallowing all the heat. In the end i could savely land without even using my heatshield (still had all 560 units left). Looks like tank might be very effective heatshields. I do not have any other mods that should affect aerodynamics and was landing on stock Kerbin. In both cases AIRBRAKES were deployed (and burnt upp quickly) and i did not do any more burns. Reentry Heating was at 100%.
  2. I am thinking about working into this (great) mod to create a ContractPack about reaching certain depths (or maybe certain points) in the oceans on Laythe and Eve. Its something that i really missed, especially since there are a few quite functional mods that allow the construction of submarines. Thanks to nightinggales work i might be able to do this even with my not-so-great programming skills. Does anyone know if such a thing already exists? I didnt find anything yet, but i really don't want to do any redundant work. Also, if there is anything similar it would be nice to have it for inspiration.
  3. Installing the newer versions fixed the 'refusing-to-work'-problem for my station. RoverDude, youre doing an awsome job. Ive never seen bugs being fixed so quickly!
  4. I have an issue with life support on ships that are not currently loaded. It seems as if Kerbals refuse to work as soon as the ship is not loaded anymore. This is problematic because I can not use Science Labs (unless they are on my active vessel, which isnt exactly the purpose of science labs.) When i load the vessel i get the notification that they refuse to work and immediately after that, i get one saying they returned to duty. They do not produce any science in the meantime. I am not 100% sure thats a bug, maybe i am just missing something. I will attach screenshots and a savefile as soon as i find out how to attach anything in this forum. During a cycle, EC never drops below 60%, so that should not be the issue.
