Still getting the same issue. Ran the steam file verification program again. http://prntscr.com/o13tjm i can't find out what these files are but this occurred on all instances of reinstall.
  3. Breakdown: Gamemode was Career Mode; only have Making History installed. I started a new save (as i do every release). I had uninstalled all my mods and updated KER to start and it worked fine 2 night ago. Cue tonight I built a Mun flyby ship and sent it to orbit. Clicked EVA on Bob Kerman and He glitched out as a Zombie. I restarted and tried EVA on Launch pad. I thought might be bad files and attempted after verifying. Still happened when attempted any new and old saves. I uninstalled Ker tried again nope. and Ive uninstalled and reinstalled KSP on Steam and still have the issue.   4. @nestorI'm having the same Problem i had Kerbal Engineer Redux installed (only Mod) tried to EVA and got Zombie Kerbal. I reloaded save, Same issue. Closed verified files had 2 renewed, launched same issue on both new save (from Last night no issues) exited and removed KER. Still having Zombie Kerbal's tried old save and new game. Update: uninstalled and reinstalled the game same issue. Zombie Kerbal. FYI i have Making History i dont have Breaking Ground. Bought and launched through Steam.
  5. Well after a intermission i managed to finally finish construction of my Minimus Station . (No pic cause its really basic. But have a gif and you can kinda see what went wrong. So Yeah, I decided to play about with a MK2 plane or Kerbin itself. After a few tries i did a thing. So yeah i did sort of land it. But destroyed the engines in the process. But no Kerbals were hurt in the Flying (sort of) of this Plane.

  8. Well, I think i put all the images i need into the Spoiler for you. its a short round up of the last few days. I have a Science Buggy that i sent around the KSC when i needed more science and had got new experiments. After that i have many images of my multiple trips to the Mun and Minmus. using my Mun/Minmus Lander design. The same design is capable of both. (although the Mun cuts the DV for the return to the edge). I have put in place 2 satellites one in the orbit of Kerbin with 2 RA-15 Antenna. on it. then i put my Scansat 1 in orbit of Minmus. The primary polar orbit for the Scanner to work and then secondary to use as a Relay for any missions to Duna. Now Duna. Heres the fun part. I have 75 days until my Duna Transfer window opens. And i took the Explore Duna mission. Do a Flyby, Get science, Return. i see all you wonderful people doing 2 stage missions. Mothership/return vehicle and a lander to Duna. So i thought i would give this a go. My lander isn't going to be a manned lander as i don't want to lose anyone to Duna. But. Can you take a look and give any advice over if it will launch or work based on the stats and design? this is my Unmanned module. Its sole mission will be to touch down on the Red wastes. This is my design for a transfer stage. So the whole thing i supposed to get into Kerbin orbit and then transfer with the Command Pod bringing what science it can collect back? Are their any parts you can see missing or anything i could do differently? Should i launch the lander stage separately or leave it as one? Would i benefit from a Middle 'Interplanetary' stage between the two? (main launch the orange tank and the Twin Boars next to it.
  9. Well, where to begin. After two evenings of game play I spent the first playing with my orbit pls design trying to turn it into a mun lander as well. This experiment sucked and I had no luck trying to do anything with it. (I'm on my lunch at work hence no pictures.) Day 2, I started more positive in attitude and managed to land a basic probe controlled rocket with bob kerman on the Mun with just over 900 dv left to come home. Sent what science I had home and hoped that I could unlock mechjebs ascent system to no luck. So I repurposed my orbit pls ship into a minmus flyby/orbiter with a probe control too. This went well with Haldles kerman the volunteer scientist in the crew cabin. It did very nicely reaching minmus with plenty of dv to use. I droped the orbit to around 20km and then EVa'd bob in each biome to gather the science from it. This done the probe returned a more learned bob to kerbin with just over 800 science. (after the mishap with Jeb going awol. Ground control decided that probe control was safer.) Jeb is still grounded. XD with that returned. With 75m/s dv left Bob was returned from the mun to applause and a very sulky Jeb. XD
  10. Was roaming kerbin with a science cae buggy thing was going about 12km/s. Got bored of waiting physics warped to x4. Science buggy imploded... Still don't understand why...
  11. Ok @KerikBalm That is amazing. I've not even started to play with Life Support Mods yet. Basic KSP breaks my brain. XD So Day 2 of my 1.3 Career, Ive spent about 3 hours trying to land Jeb on the mun without success. I do orbit easily enough but i crashed more time that i counted. I managed to land and took some lovely screen grabs. I think realized that i probably didnt have the fuel to return. (sub 1.2k DV) so i had to revert to auto save. Except that autosave was before i landed on the Mun (while in orbit). I decided to walk away before i get too frustrated. I will try again possibly try a Minmus fly by instead to grab the science there.

  13. Hi I'm back again XD. Well guys, 1.3 is out and i've been tempted back to playing. I haven't got all my mods back yet (Haven't seen Kerbal Alarm Clock for 1.3 yet). Jeb started a new Career. Glory of Kerbin. So i did the basics for the start i did you traditional shoddy slapdash ships going nowhere for the Science. To get the Science around the KSC i built a contraption. of a Juno engine strapped to a mk1 with some Wheels and the science tech i had at the time. What i did forget was that i should have put a wheel on the front of the 'car' 'rover' thing. So yeah. This is Bob's adventure. With the Science from this adventure, I sent Jeb up to complete your standard; Break the atmosphere and orbit Kerbin. He did the Atmosphere easily and did a couple of parts tests on the way. After this i built a new ship 'Orbit Please' Now i think all of you will realize from the stats this is a little bit over built to achieve Orbit really. Lets just say that Jeb got the Orbit with alot of DV left over and Jeb went AWOL. Ignoring ground control he plotted and carried out a munar fly by even achieving a Munar Orbit for the science he could find there. This led to Ground Control panicking incoherently while Jeb was attempting the Maneuvers with manual Time Warps... He managed Orbit (Like an idiot he forgot to take any Pictures. But he did get a nice snap of this return trajectory. It was also at this point the engineers realized that there was no means of Electric generation on this ship... My next mission is going to be a Munar Landing. needless to say i will be redesigning the Orbit Please. But may keep the asparagus launch set up for any satellites or station parts i need to launch in the future, but damn that was over powered for its mission. XD Atm its nearly 1am. I have Grounded Jeb for going AWOL. I will have to let him out again after work tomorrow.

  15. Erm I spent all evening trying to work out what i can do to listen to all you awesome guys that replied with advice in Thank you a lot all of you for all your help. I have started playing around using SFB's to get to orbit rather than waste the money asparagus launching with twin boars. Using MechJeb and reverting a lot i needed to get to orbit safely and retrieve two Kerbal's from the mun as a rescue mission. My current attempts on a style the cost is about 60k so half my previous costs.
  16. @eddiew Thanks for the advice. I was basically working a theory of Moar Power over skill as i haven't really got the skill. I watched a few YT vids by people who were talking about Asparagus launching and making it most efficient. which i suppose i took too far to heart XD.
  17. i dont think ive killed any Kerbals other than in reverts XD Although i have stranded them places. The Mun being my Most common one. Jeb is currently going crazy alone on an orbital station above the Mun with no intentions atm to bring him home...
  18. Hey Guys, I got home and fell asleep last night. XD My basic builds are along the lines of this has a basic asparagus system but if i remember right i got Jeb stuck on the mun with this design. Which was frustrating. I know that I can cheaply build Mk.1 pod ships cheaply i like using the mk1-2 pod cause i can have a pilot and scientist. My next level design moved to As you can see i used the basics with Jumbo 64 tanks and mainsails this design gets the job done. But as you can see the cost is quite high. I used it to launch a relay into kerbal orbit and it was overly efficient for that purpose. My Payload laucher sub assembly then morphed into this was because i thought the Twin Boar were a better idea than the mainsail design. But once i get this up to circularised this basically drops almost100k of the value in the asparagus stages. SO yeah i know there are some good stock parts but i play on the basic medium game which doesn't provide those stock designs. Im thinking after doing a couple more money making schemes that i really should go to Duna for a fly by which is one of my missions my only issue is i want the 500+ science parts before i try it and im struggling to make the money cause each launch is overly expensive.
  19. So, I've had my career going for about a week now and i have unlocked most of the tech up to the 500 limit that a level 2 research. This has unlocked a bunch of plane parts that i have noticed on a lot of the designs people come up with, But i will be honest i suck at building planes and my rockets are all asparagus launched and the average cost to me is 130k. The module im returning with is only worth 6k, I losing alot in my launch staging. Anyone know how i can help with that will SSTO or space planes help that much with recoverable costs? I'm trying to save up for the Research level upgrade but its slow going when any contracts i take up i need 130k to get me in the air. If you have a guide on building SSTO or maybe even how to save my twin boar asparagus rockets would be good cause that where alot of my money goes. I have 4 Twin boars at 17k a unit. Then a main sail and Rockomax 64 tanks which gets me mostly circular before i have to use a Rockomax X200-16 Fuel Tank or Rockomax X200-8 Fuel Tank depending on my mission (mun or Minmus) this teams to a Skipper or poodle engine (Again whatever i think is more efficient for the mission). (i will post a pic when i get home). This may be overkill really but i tend to use up alot of DV especially when i go to the Mun. (its the landing stage that i struggle with. Although MechJeb has helped ( i don't crash as often). SO yeah y'all Kerbonauts, Any helpful tips or tricks?
  20. Erm well i have 2 days of updates to do on here... I have lots of images on imgur for you all http://imgur.com/a/WrICn but im really struggling to be motivated to create a post on here explaining all i have done. (long day at work with a cold) HAving been playing for several months on and off i finally go around to testing what MechJeb is capable of. At first i just had the basic Mechjeb in my Career a maneuver planner at the first step. This proved very useful in putting a probe in orbit of the mun and visit Minmus the Hauffman this i think its called. Was great cause it was Delta-V saving to have Mech Jeb do it all and eventually got to do landings again it was a very efficient choice to use Mech Jeb. as long as i make sure i can revert Once i had the science from those missions i built a space station for one of my missions. This had to keep a stable orbit with 5 kebals and power generation and Antenna. (I now have a mission to expand this to 12 kerbals.) Erm i rescue Mica Kebal from Minmus surface and had to put a probe in a specific orbit of the Mun.. (this was a massive pain in the cheeks. No i mean SERIOUS PAIN IN THE cheeks!) Oh yeah i built a basic plan design that didnt work very well really need some help making them. I unlocked a lot the plane part now. Ive got almost all of the 300 science cost research done but need 1.6mill to upgrade my science centre to go any higher. and i tested a basic lander visiting the monolith near the KSC with it. (need to run several tests with mech jeb on this rover ) But yeah i have a long week of work ahead if i can ever be asked i will up load the picture files but otherwise please visit the imgur link above i hope it should take you to my Album for the weekend My really basic Station... i need to work out how to dock with it without the MechJeb Auto dock feature....
  21. @Flamingo If you're stuggling to remember all the science. There's a mod i used called 'For Science'. As long as the science unit is there it will run the tests for you. If you have a scientist on board it will even reset materials bays and the like Only thing it won't do is take your Kerbal EVA for you that's still upto you.
  22. So I haven't posted in a couple of days. I kept meaning too but i suppose 1am isn't a great time to try writing a long summary of my Kerbaling for the day. So where i left off the other day i had Jeb stuck on the Mun cause I'm crap at flying XD So I built a new rescue ship one that could carry enough Kerbals. this was intended to go there and get jeb and bring him home. Unfortunately for me i screwed up again and found this ship with not enough DV to actually return.... And with me having Autosaved with this thing short of fuel... So i found myself having to build a rescue for the rescue ship.... I even had to walk Jeb about 4 km to the other ship... After a couple of WIP's i created this monstrosity. I think the HItch hiker's unit i used as a crew compartment is meant as a space station peice but oh well it worked. i put a nose cone on the top of it with a decoupler and a a 2.5m Thermal Shield to protect me for my kerbal re entry. I got it up and into a not bad orbit. Jeb and the others were really happy to see my probe ship rescue the rescue... this the resulted in a return to kerbin They were all really happy to return and i even remembered to grab all that juice science.
  23. I am very jealous of you people who can build SSTO and fly them around. I struggle to get my vertical rockets into orbit without drift. i blow up every plane that i build. XD
  24. Soo.. Been a while since i posted as i was letting KER and a couple other mods i use catch up on versions Started a New career yesterday did the standard to atmos, to obit to mun flyby and then decided that i had the tech for a Munar Landing. I was wrong. So i built what i thought would work as a launcher/lander and took Jeb with me. So we got there and landed. I planted a flag And Jeb is now currently stuck on the Mun because like an idiot i broke the engine on landing and run out of fuel on landing. (hence why the engine broke.) So with this i went to do the sensible thing send the science back so i could save him. And.... realized that i hadn't put an antenna on the ship... As a way of gaining science to get the components i need to save Jeb i decided to do a minmus fly by. and built the following ship. I kept having the issue of wavering on take off as i forgot that i needed a gimbal engine to launch... so i replace the 4 asparagus engines into Swivel engines. This helped solve the problem along with adding some wings. So i flew to Minmus and got my science probably not the best RV i could have had but i got orbit and then carried on with the science mission. this gave me nearly enough science for the tech but i had to build a small rover and put Bob in and drove round the KSC grabbing any additional science i missed the first time. So yeah i have built a new ship for use when i try and save JEb it could be interesting. I have to try and get as close to Jeb as i can. I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow.
