Building the Future, logical next DLC?
Quantum Crab replied to NSEP's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
In my personal opinion, we have so much content, but very little room. I mean, a whole solar system is a lot of room, but down the road when you have colonised each planet and moon, It would be cool to have DLC that would build on that instead. For example, an improvement on the planet orbit system to allow new solar systems that can move independently from Sol. Mods have done this, but not well (Stars that orbit a blackhole for example). -
Yeah, some pictures would, uh, help. I'll get straight to it!

Hey everyone! I am fairly new to this forum, and I thought it would be cool if I contributed something! So, without further ado... KSP - Logo 3D Model Recently, I working in Sketchup to create a 3D model of the KSP logo in blender ! It was being made for an upcoming animation I am making, and the work took a hefty 5 hours to fully complete, so I thought it would be nice to upload it so people wont have to spend 5 hours making the exact same thing. Do keep in mind, I am not a professional at 3d modelling, and some lines may be a bit wonky, but thats nothing a bit of motion blur shouldn't fix . /// Downloads /// http://www.mediafire.com/file/j1lzcojqe91f431/KSP_-_Logo_(cycles).zip PS: You don't *have* to credit me, but it would be appreciated

Custom Mod Problems
Quantum Crab replied to Quantum Crab's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
You, sir, are a life saver! Off to the Addon development section! -
I have recently taken an interest in making part mods for KSP, and I have made a couple of duplicate stock files with slightly different code. Only today have I downloaded the mu. blender importer to start making custom models. For some reason however, when I change the model in blender and export it in .mu back into my file, it shows up as invisible in-game. Is there an extra step? I am unsure about this, and is would be hugely appreciated if someone could help. Thanks. PS: Sorry If I put this in the wrong sub forum, I wasn't sure where to put it.

I think I have found the issue with this rig. By all means it is brilliant (easily the best fan-made one out there), but the reason it looks a bit off is, in my opinion, the eyes. They appear to be too oval shaped, as the in game version have very circular eyes . Here is my version:
