Sorry, the video keeps popping up when I quote, and can't be deleted. And I lost my computer when my mother died a few months ago. All my current saves and craft files went with it. If you are wondering, I am posting on a tablet which I received for Christmas. RCS can be used to rotate the craft in space but not to push the craft. A kerbal can be used to push only for small orbit changes, but not on prograde because that would ruin the point of the challenge.

I know about the pushing directions, since I have been playing KSP for a year and have done research since long before then. I deobited a MIG 15 I built (see my comment in my space plane to orbit with only air breathing engines post) by pushing against the side of the aircraft which was pointing prograde to get a retrograde effect. I modified one of my older planes (video below) and proved this possible. Too bad I didn't make a video of it. Video of unmodified plane: I put heat shields on the sides, front, wings, etc... In positions where they don't add too much drag to withstand the heat that comes with speed that is achieved and bypassed with the extra whiplashes under the heat shields. The highest speed achieved was 41,232 m\s, which was achieved shortly after engine flameout before it stopped accelerating during the force glide on prograde. A few heat shields and wing parts were lost due to the heat. But a full orbit was achieved.

It's harder because you have to push for a very long time to close the gap between your craft and kerbin.

Okay, try a large craft on an orbit near minmus. That's where it gets challenging.

Push a vessel out of orbit using a kerbal on Eva. The infinite propellent cheat is allowed. The biggest craft pushed out of the highest orbit wins the challenge. Also try to survive re-entry and the crash. (The kerbal, not the ship) Submit your attempt, vessel part count/weight, orbit height, and proof in the comments below.

Yes I am sure this is possible. I have done it before off camera but will record video or screenshots of a second attempt sometime.

The challenge is to launch a kerbal on EVA, no spaceship, into orbit around kerbin. Use mass relay if you like.

I flew a 843 kerbal stock Boeing 747 to minmus, dropped of four kerbals, and landed on kerbin with 839 kerbals remaining. Does that count?

It's simple: Launch a kerbal into orbit from the ground through any stock means possible.

This post is invalid. Looking back at it, I realize I didn't achieve ACTUAL orbit, just a temporary orbit, which would have died if I had cut my engines.
