May I offer a suggestion? I love the fact that Principia now shows celestial predictions as well. However, it takes an extreme prediction length to show significant portions of just the Mun's orbit. It may be better to either mutliply the prediction time for celestials before drawing them or to add a new option because I personally don't need a massive prediction length for my own craft, only for celestials.

Wha... What!? How did that happen? And in wireframe, too?
-
Well, it happened. For the first time it is technically possible to build a rocket entirely out of patched parts! I decided to complete the size 0 and size 1 engines and then patch the S0 and S1 fuel tanks so I have both at around the same "completeness". Now I have the probe cores, some fuel tanks and some engines done and it already looks very good!

Is it possible that _Smoothness is handled differently to a smoothness value given in a texture? One grayscale value I commonly use for the alphas is 85 (out of 100). That value is barely reflective, but has very bright 'hot spots'. However, the _Smoothness float 0.85 is still very reflective. I get that kind of reflection with an alpha closer to 90 or 95. My theory is that _Smoothness falls off linearly while the smoothness controlled by the alpha is falling off in some other way, perhaps exponential or in some kind of inverse proportionality. Reflectivity is very rapidly lost and there is a much bigger difference between 100 and 95 than between 85 and 80.

You can see that he is the KSP creator, just look at that UI! I look forward to it!

Patched this one a few days ago, but here is the "Dachshund" - an engine that comes with VSR. I tried to base things on page 28 of this.

I get to repeat the school year for being too bad in PE and in Spanish. As if repeating it suddenly made me better at something I cannot do any better (I'm genuinely attempting my best in every lesson). So... there go my plans of studying math and actually doing something with my life... Maybe IT? Heard that's a business with need for employees?

Done!

I'm making the maps right now and so far I haven't run into any problems. The nozzles are kinda bright, though... Might have deviate from my standard color palette a bit and use darker values...

Mad scribbles on the engines. (AKA: My idea for reconstructing their UV maps.)

Has anyone ever looked at the stock config files, just for fun? The potatoroids/asteroids have some rather funny comments in theirs! This is what Squad has written about them: title = #autoLOC_500643 //#autoLOC_500643 = A potato like rock manufacturer = #autoLOC_501643 //#autoLOC_501643 = The Solar system description = #autoLOC_500644 //#autoLOC_500644 = Big ole, rock like thing. A bit further down... maxTemp = 2500 // way hotter than the melting point of "Ore" but oh well. You'd never see these comments in the game, Squad could have just left those fields empty (except for maxTemp).

Continuing to patch parts to use TU. Right now I'm doing size 1 engines. (first I did the all probe cores/command modules, then size 0 engines and now size 1). The Wheesley was the last one so far (with Mk1 cockpit and cabin to compare with all other non-patched parts). As for the Panther and the Whiplash, the next two on my list... those will be difficult. I create the map(-s) based on the UV information of the mesh, and the Blender .mu plugin doesn't load them for some reason. So I either patch them without maps or blindly guess.

That would be the best (pre-/post-) Christmas present ever.

You know where you are, right? I doubt anyone will not get what you mean.

Successful landing!

Liftoff!

Cities in Flight. A particularly good one in my opinion! Anyways: In-flight abort in February 2020. When was it scheduled for initially?

Success! First time I visited Moho! Now what do I do with the ~900m/s I have left?
