  1. I can launch all of those in 2 launches for 40k funds, provided they fit inside the fairing. Edit: Actually I think I'll launch that last one separately. Edit 2: No, I'll launch 4 of the first and another 4 of the second. Then I'll launch the other two in a third launch. Also, 135* is that retrograde at all? So a total of 60k funds. Are all the antenna retractable? Can you fit it in a 1.25m fairing? @StupidAndy what do you think? Much cheaper than Brent
  2. Also @TheEpicSquared to make my Arthur Series reusable I would make these changes: Add parachutes and maybe two lithobraking parts to the upper stage For the upper stage I would add the smallest fuel tank, decoupler, parachutes and move the RCS onto the fuel tank How much development time and cost would this take?
  3. I was 60m/s short of orbit, so I'm rating it for 3t now. Costs now at 6666/ ton. And for some reason I thought my rockets were costing over 15,000 to launch, but they are just over 11,000. So I can lower the price . @TheEpicSquared I've updated the craft files now. Please re-download them (especially the Skysats)
  4. Damn I'm being beaten here noooo! Time to up my rating. Also did you make any changes to increase payload and decrease price? I am currently re-testing the Arthur 1 with around 3.375t. DeltaV is tight but... we'll see. Also do the delta-v maps take into account atmospheric efficiency? This thing has 3,500m/s vacuum. Well, that's not taking into account the extra dV from fairing deployment
  5. Sounds interesting. I don't have kerbalism so I can't make crewed craft but I can launch and provide fuel/power/comes modules. for now though we need to wait for better gee launchers. Maybe when I release my Arthur Heavy
  6. Hehe yeah I'm building a Mun lander too but first I need a satellite for communications! If I had Kerbalism I would make manned craft too (why has no one made a tourist craft?) but oh well. If someone were to build a good tourist craft for my use I would give them a free launch of my Arthur-1 but for now...
  7. @Fraus could you take my SkySat-1B to to a Mun flyby (orbit if possible) see the other thread first page for details (should be obvious) it weighs something like 0.6t. On your Artemis 1 rocket. If it isn't taken all the way to Mun orbit then it has propulsion to get it some of the way as well.
  8. Sorry, so do I get a new rocket every 35.5 game days? I think it should be based partially off of the number of launches performed by your rocket, or maybe launching speeds it up. Also can I release a variant with 2 SRBs and a variant with 4 at the same time, or at least with less time between them? Since they will be basically the same. The only other change would be a few extra tanks (longer tank) but no other increase in engine power. @TheEpicSquared And anyway, I'm pretty sure most rockets or payloads can't be built in that time, let alone designed.
  9. Maybe launching hundreds of satellites at once? Or launching large modules for interplanetary motherships. I guess we don't see larger payloads because we can't launch them. Plus spacex may eventually want a destination for their dragon other than the ISS they could even try to build a 'space hotel' or something of the sort. Then there would be more interest. Also they could practise landing larger boosters, though I'm not sure if it is harder or not
  10. @TheEpicSquared I would like you to re-enter my second stage backwards, because I will have to up my game if I want to make good profit (my rocket costs around 15,000 to produce now) and I will make the ArthR series, recovering the lower stage engines and thrusters and the upper stage. That is the plan anyway.
  11. Sure, you could choose the Iridium 1, but that costs 3,000 more than mine per launch. If you are launching those GOSAR satellites separately, and I launch all of the requested satellites then in total you save 21,000 funds. That extra cost is for the extra .2t payload capacity, which you won't be utilising. Mine can take 2.66t to LKO. I can take them all.
  12. (Looks for references to ITS booster landing legs, finds only pictures of KSP recreations) Okay next question, is the ITS landing on its engines? Isn't this Krazy KSP stuff? And would the ITS booster ever launch anything other than the ship? I haven't run any numbers, but I am pretty sure this could launch a sufficiently sized centrifuge? (Imagines huge fairings)
  13. What's the payload? Also I would advise against using a vector, it costs far too much, especially if you ar not going to use it. For a 20m high 1.25m wide rocket it is too much. Yeah you can Ben a PP just tto yourself, like spacex with their dragon craft. However, we do want to get some use out of all the other rockets. Yeah and no SSTOs either if that's what you were planning The government will pay you to use your satellites for communications, better the location is for them, the more they will pay. Check the new(ish) PP rules. Also, keep discussion to the other thread, this one is just for posting craft.
  14. @TheEpicSquared Finalised launch deal: I am launching my SkySat-1B on @Numerlor's Beggar 1 rocket. This will come after his demo flight provided it is successful.
  15. Edited post. If you don't feel like it, don't follow my spinning rules just spin and deploy them how you like Yeah but you need a craft to be launched @TheEpicSquared See the above edit, I decided just to go for 500km
  16. Right yeah I'm still taking that launch, since this is just a test. If it undercuts and only get to 100km by 80km then that is fine. Also @TheEpicSquared instead of 500km for deployment height of my SkySat-0 by Arthur-1, I want it on a Munar intercept with a periapsis of 112,000m. (start the manoeuvre node from an 80km orbit) EDIT: Scratch that, just do it from 500km. Hold down E for (approx.) 3 seconds, deploy, another 3 seconds, deploy, another 3, deploy, then stop and deploy the last one.
  17. @Numerlor I would like to launch my SkySat-1B (see the other thread and look for 'Skylon Aerospace Technology' in big blue writing) on your Beggar 1 rocket. This would come after your demo launch, provided it is successful with a 700kg payload. I want it taken to a 100km orbit. He payload has a reaction wheel to aid in roll control for your launch.
