  1. Thank you for collating these. I am returning to KSP1 after a long time away (was sort of waiting for KSP2, but have now given up) and it is good to get a reminder of what is worth attention first. I like a 'stockalike' experience for my modded KSP and I think what you've suggested so far seems along these lines. I have 3 further mod suggestions to consider. These are very much just 'QOL' mods but I've tried to pick ones that took me ages to discover but have improved my gameplay experience. 1) Mk1 cabin hatch: I usually like to keep it fairly close to stock in terms of parts, but I consider this more of a fix than a mod: 2) Xenon ISRU: For mining, whilst it might not be too realistic, I feel from a gameplay angle this change to allow Xenon generation via the ISRU is reasonable if you want to really go for it with Xenon engines (works with v1.12.5) without getting a ton of extra part mods: https://spacedock.info/mod/1010/Xenon ISRU 3) ISRU Thanks But No Tanks: Also for mining, in the interests of saving on part count (and sanity) I've recently started using this. Gives a small amount of ore storage to the ISRU.
  2. Can't really understate the importance of this fix for this critical problem. It is a bug, not a feature. This was not desirable in KSP1, it is even less desirable for KSP2.
  3. Hello, I just wanted to say thank you for creating this challenge and promoting this idea. Whilst I don't think I could ever formally enter I have had a lot of fun starting a new career and restricting upgrades to facilities, namely restricting the runway, launch pad, vab and sph. It gave me a new level of respect for all of you who have actually completed this challenge without upgrading anything! Just constraining yourself to 18 tons and 30 parts really forces some creativity! I've been trying to work on a design for lifting the maximum fuel to LKO that fits in this category and doesn't need extra fuel before take off. My best effort is getting just over 120 liquid / 150 ox to approx 100km LKO. Did anyone else do something similar to this? I ended up launching a under fueled research station, fueling it up before launch and am now gradually building a bigger fuel station in orbit using these little guys. Some other designs here.   4. Hi So I will post the album of my grand tour which of course includes a trip round the Jool 5. I'll include my modlist below. I did not remove HyperEdit prior to the start of the tour so I'll understand if this doesn't make me eligable for anything, but I thought others might find the album interesting anyway! Hi, I have a couple of questions to anyone kind enough to answer: I'm currently about a 3rd of the way through completing this but I started before I was aware of done of the guidance in this thread - would my entry still count if I could show screen caps of my landings on all bodies, even if I don't actually complete the contract? Also I was planning on sending a 'booster' ship to meet me at Eve. I would still use the same lander but would attach a single use booster to get it into Eve orbit. Does this break the 'single ship' rule? Finally, does version used matter? I'm on 1.2 and only using a handful of basic mods (KAS, mechjeb etc) but would probably avoid going to 1.3 right away in case it broke any of them. Thanks OP maintaining this awesome challenge! I came to this forum a long time ago and was inspired but only recently got to the point where I felt confident enough to give it a go! Edit: ok after paying more attention I can see completing the contract is not essential and multiple refuelling missions is a no no... I think I might restart. Having major problems on Tylo anyway with my current build.
