part orietation.
harrisjosh2711 replied to harrisjosh2711's topic in KSP1 Modelling and Texturing Discussion
I knew I had seen you talking about that before. Anyway you could copy and paste me a quick example? -
You sure do ask for a lot of things...... Perhaps you should take up modding...... I just started modding in june because I wanted a dragonV2. But to answer your question- what I have planned for the BFR- yes, an IVA will eventually be included (It wont be next week.). I really haven't thought to much about how many people the IVA will hold yet. I have been really busy trying to get my V2 parachute system to work, testing the BFR payload capabilities, working on the cargo variation of the BFR, re-texturing the entire BFR, other parts of the mod, course work, projects, exams, real life, etc.................. As soon as it is ready.
-
I'm confused. Wait.... I get it now. Unfortunately I cant find out yet. I cant access the inventory from EVA although I believe I have it set up so it should. There also seems to be some kind of issue with the volume of stock parts. the Mk1 takes up more space than the mk2????????????? Neither take up much space. You can fit around 100 mk2 pod's into BFR inventory, around 75 mk1's, 1 dragonV2, or something like three or four dragon1's. How in the world the mk1 takes up more space than the mk2 is something modern physics just cant explain.

Atleast 1 what?
-
I could be wrong, but I don't think there is one.
-
89.4 ton payload preparing for a mun landing.
-
all ports are compatible with the clamp-o-tron beides the ITS titan who is compatible with the JR. If a port will dock with the stock-clamp-otron it will dock with mine I don't use that mod but someone else is welcome to.
-
How many kerbals do you think it takes to pick up a science lab out of the KIS inventory system? 50 ton KIS cargo.
-
It already has a docking port compatible with the clap-o-tron, your right click the pod and select open docking port (The BFR cargo isn't released yet). Also, yes I will add landing legs at some point. Both sound reasonable. Ill consider it.
-
150 tons LKO full reusability...... Check! I forgot to add a decopler to the weight so of course I had to create Elon Kerman to go up and get rid of that sucker. BFR returns home..... Yea, we landed in the waters off KSC; so you get this pic instead.
-
I plan on re-texturing the BFR soon, I really rushed those textures so I could get it released, may even work on it a little tonight. I will use that as inspiration.

Who is the most significant person on the forum to you?
harrisjosh2711 replied to cratercracker's topic in Kerbal Network
@linuxgurugamer for keeping a lot of my favorite mods up to date. -
Is there a config for changing the orientation of a part in the CFG.? I'm attempting to make a command pod function like a wing, but cant seem to get the orientation right no matter how I try in unity.
-
He is likely talking about kerbalized spaceX. It does not have RO configs.
-
Doubt I will be going any further with the ITS Titan in this mod. When I finish this mod ill likely scale it down and move it and the spacebug to a new mod.
-
No go on that. #1) 2 much drag 2)not how real bfr is designed 3) weighs 2 much for any aerodynamic engine like super dracos. you know bad things always happen when you accidentally press space bar. Don't put that evil on me

[1.12] KSP-RO - Realism Overhaul [16 May 2022]
harrisjosh2711 replied to Theysen's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I'm not old but I can tell you modding may be perceived as difficult, but it is not. You might not find a better game to start modding on than KSP either. The community is willing to answer any question you have. Not to mention there is an entire thread filled with tutorials to help you learn about modding KSP. I myself started modding because I wanted a Dragon V2 to play with. With no programming or artistic background I downloaded my first 3d program not even 5 months ago. Check out my page and see where I am now. Farther than I ever thought I would be.- 2,215 replies

Thanks, just seen this post. Will fix next release.

Thanks! Also, welcome to the forums. Sorry for the inconvenience but I don't answer the ETA question anymore. Its just to hard to give a concrete answer as it depends on what I have to do, in real life, and what I feel like doing in my free time. It could be tomorrow, it could be two weeks from now. I suppose the best answer is when its done. I generally switch frequently between what I'm working on, as to not get burned out on any one item. Which makes it even more difficult to gauge an ETA. With that said, the BFR cargo is of the top priority to finish.... all that is left is modeling a small interior for the fairing, which I have already started.... so very soon!. Also, feel free to ask about or give your input on anything you may see I'm actively working on, I would be happy to share where I'm at in terms of development.

Welcome to the forums! Yes, coming soon. Have a lot to do but I already have the trunk, panel covers, and solar panels modeled. So its just down to texturing now.
-
Testing a BFR payload concept.
-
BFR concept cargo variation first cargo drop.
-
That would make it easier but could potentially present an issue with the node for the docking port. I'm going to try my best to get what I have working first because I already invested the time to do it that way. But that will likely be my contingency plan. I highly recommend you using landing legs on both if you plan on re-using them, which I do highly recommend (I use FMRS for re-usability). Unless you of course you can land your rocket back on the launch pad efficiently and reliably like spaceX plans to do so with the BFR. In which case you should probably like apply for a job with them or something.......
